Kitchenette has new cabinets, apartment size fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and electric frying pan.

Open concept studio apartment is approx. 400 square foot in all. Although the space is compact, it has an open feel. Enter into the hallway with the bathroom to your right (sink, shower, toilet and storage/closet). Enter from the hallway into the studio where you will find a well-appointed coastal beach decorated room with queen bed, queen sofa sleeper, bar table and stools, dresser, TV, air conditioner and kitchenette.
Note: Islander at the Beach is not zoned for a full kitchen, so there is no stove or oven.

Getting around

A car is ideal for getting around the island, but with so many amenities within walking distance, it is possible to vacation without a car. However, a taxi or uber (not always available), is 6 miles away. That is approximately 13 minutes away. Once at the Islander on the Beach there are restaurants, shopping, grocery store, and a beach within walking distance. It is possible to enjoy a low key vacation without a car if you wish. The Kauai Shuttle is available with a stop within walking distance. The cost is a few dollars. No large luggage is allowed on the bus. Masks are required as of February 2022. Check online for the bus schedule, as we are not allowed to share a website domain on this platform.

Do not use towels to wipe off mud, as it will result in a charge to replace the towels
Please do not wear shoes inside the condo
Do not lounge on furniture in wet clothing or swimsuits
Turn off lights, fan and air conditioner when not inside the condo
Recycle and dispose of trash in the dumpsters
Do not pile trash in front of the garbage cans outside the condo

Blue Ocean Breeze vacation rental is a PRIVATE OWNERSHIP property. As such, guests can by-pass front desk check-in or standing in line. Guests will not be subject to daily Aston Resort fees! However, guests do not have access to the Aston laundromat or daily coffee service, beach towel service, etc. offered by the hotel.
