Blue Heron Cove Lakehouse in the Ozarks - Bella Vista

Blue Heron Cove Lakehouse is a spacious, two-story lakefront home designed for groups who want to be together—without feeling on top of one another. With multiple living areas, generous bedrooms, and peaceful lake views from nearly every level, the house offers the perfect balance of gathering space and quiet retreat.

The main living area is located on the upper level, where large windows frame views of Lake Avalon and the surrounding trees. This floor features a comfortable living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a fully stocked kitchen and a dining area ideal for shared meals. Two private bedrooms on this level each have their own bathroom, making it a great setup for couples or guests who prefer fewer stairs. Step out onto the upper deck to enjoy coffee in the morning or sunset views over the water.

Downstairs, a second living room with another wood-burning fireplace creates a relaxed space for kids, games, or movie nights. This level includes three additional bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a separate laundry room with washer and dryer. One of the bedrooms is accessed through another bedroom, which works especially well for families or kids sharing space. From the lower level, guests can step out onto a covered patio that opens to the backyard and the wooded path leading toward the lake.

Throughout the home, there are multiple places to gather—two living rooms, decks on both levels, and outdoor seating—so larger groups can spread out comfortably. The layout is especially well-suited for multi-generational families, reunions, or group trips where everyone appreciates both shared time and personal space.

Just below the house, a scenic path leads to your private dock on a quiet cove of Lake Avalon with peaceful water access for kayaking, fishing, and swimming, along with a true sense of lakeside seclusion.

Please note the fireplaces are available for guest use from October through March.

The house has a two-car garage and parking for one or two additional cars in the driveway. Please note that the driveway is narrow and steep.

Lake Avalon is a beautiful, quiet lake perfect for kayaking, fishing and swimming. The Beach at Lake Avalon is located a short five minute walk from the house and available for guest use with a Bella Vista Guest Pass.

The Little Sugar Creek MTB Trail is accessible just down the street and connects to all Bella Vista trails and continues to the Razorback Greenway.

Located minutes from I-49, check out all the Northwest Arkansas has to offer from mountain bike trails (go to oztrailsnwa) to playing golf at one of 6 courses in Bella Vista, world class Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and the brand new Momentary Contemporary Art Museum.

The house has a steep driveway, two-car garage. Depending on the car size you can accommodate 3 to 4 cars with tight parking.
