Villa KERA is located within the mountain village of Kera, one of the oldest still inhabited villages of Crete (and therefore Greece). Inside it, you can find one of the oldest mills of Greece. It is famed for its traditional “Xirotigana”, fried dough and laced with honey and walnuts. Certainly worth a try!Even though located in the wild mountains of Crete, the villa is still only 8 km away (roughly 15min) from the nearest beach, (Nopigia Beach). The famous beaches of Falaserna and Balos Beach are both 15 km away. The beautiful Elafonisi island is 40 km away (and a small boat ride).
