Each of the home’s bedrooms is designed with guest comfort in mind. Fall asleep in comfortable beds and wake up refreshed for another exciting (or relaxing!) day at the beach.

There are three stylish bedrooms. Get away from the world in a spacious primary ensuite. The other two bedrooms share a second full bathroom.

☆☆ KITCHEN & DINING ☆☆

The kitchen and dining area offer plenty of room to comfortably host family dinners and are outfitted with all the cookware, dishes, utensils, and appliances you will need to cook delicious meals. The dining table can seat up to eight.

☆☆ LIVING SPACES ☆☆

The main level has a living room with two large, comfortable couches and seating for eight.

☆☆ OUTSIDE SPACE ☆☆

While there are plenty of outdoor activities nearby, the house also provides its own outdoor sanctuary for guests to enjoy. We invite you to relax in the backyard or on the deck. There are plenty of seating areas for guests to sip morning coffee or enjoy a happy hour drink as the sun goes down. There are string lights to provide ambient lighting.

Your safety matters. This property has a Ring camera with audio at the exterior part of the house, this will be on at all times but don’t worry, it does not look into interior spaces.

You’re just a 7-minute walk to the beach and boardwalk in Colonial Beach — and even closer to the heart of town. Shops and restaurants begin before you reach the water, so you’ll find yourself immersed in the energy of town within minutes. A cute local favorite, Love Bites, is just a 3-minute walk away, perfect for morning coffee or a light bite. A large grocery store is only a 3-minute drive from the house, making longer stays especially convenient.

Our home is located in one of Colonial Beach’s historically significant residential neighborhoods — an area shaped by generations of families and a deep sense of community. The brick home across the street once served as a public school for African American children during segregation, reflecting an important chapter in the town’s educational and cultural history. Nearby, First Baptist Church has long been a spiritual and civic cornerstone of the neighborhood.

Historically, this street was once home to a general store and a bakery that served local residents. Over time, it transitioned into the primarily residential setting you see now. The neighborhood today reflects both its historic roots and its gradual revitalization — authentic, lived-in, and full of character.

Guests who appreciate walkability, history, and a genuine sense of place will find this location offers a unique perspective on Colonial Beach beyond the immediate waterfront strip.

Walking is one of the easiest ways to explore. The beach, boardwalk, restaurants, shops, and coffee are all within minutes on foot.

During the warmer months, Colonial Beach operates an antique trolley with a stop near our block that connects key points around town. Golf carts are also a popular way to get around, and rentals are available nearby — a fun and easy option for cruising to the beach or dinner.

If you’re driving, most destinations in town are just a few minutes away, and parking is generally straightforward compared to larger beach towns.

We allow reliably house-trained dogs for a $25 pet fee per dog per night for stays under 7 nights. If you want to bring your dog, please let us know:

- If they are 100% reliably house-trained
- The dog's age

We must approve their stay, but we have never rejected a dog that meets this criteria. We do not allow cats or puppies.

We would really appreciate it if you could bathe your dog before visiting.
