Kiahuna Plantation 247

Located on the site of Hawaii's first sugar plantation, this condo features all the modern comforts of home perfect for the ideal relaxing beach adventure on Kauai. A newly installed A/C unit is in the living room to keep you comfortable when more than the trade wind breeze is needed. The condo sleeps 5 with a California King (Sealy Posturepedic Hybrid Plush Mattress)in the bedroom, and two sofabeds a Queen Sofabed and Twin Sofabed in the living room with upgraded memory foam mattresses for your comfort.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the back lanai and soak in the incredible views or evening sunset. Stroll along the famous Moir Gardens nestled among the resort. Or walk across the screen to Little Fish Coffee for your favorite cup of coffee or an acai bowl. It's worth the wait! You'll find a variety of restaurants and shops within minutes from the resort. An amazing farmer's market on Wednesday night down the street at the Kuhuiula Shopping Center. Be sure to stop by the Sugarloaf Pineapple stand - it's a must-have treat on the island.

Location, Location, Location: You're a quick two-minute walk to the beach. Stop by the beach hut for complimentary chairs and towels. Sign up for a surf lesson or rent a boogie board. Our unit offers two chairs, beach umbrella, snorkel gear, portable cooler and boogie boards for your use on the resort or on one of the many beautiful beaches on Kauai. Poipu Beach and Lawai beach are close by and great spots for snorkeling or watching sea turtles and sea lions.

You'll have free access to the member's only Poipu Beach Athletic Club across the street. Club membership provides you with access to one of the island's only fitness centers with a cardio room and weight pavilion; use of the resort pool, waterslide, hot tub, and sand-bottomed kiddie section; tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts; shuffleboard; yoga and water aerobics classes; and more!

Complimentary parking is right outside the unit. On-site laundry facility for the resort, outdoor barbeques and picnic tables are scattered throughout the property.

Kiahuna Plantation is a pet-free resort. No dog(s) or other animals are allowed in the unit.

We're a short 14 miles from Lihue airport which takes approximately 20-25 minutes. There are restaurants and shopping directly across the street from Kiahuna Plantation. A wonderful farmer's market is 5 minutes away on Wednesday afternoons to sample local specialty items and fresh fruit/produce for your trip.
We highly recommend renting a car for your trip.

Once you arrive at Kiahuna Plantation, follow the signs for the Castle Resorts Check-In. They will coordinate your check-in, parking pass, door code, collect cleaning fees and general resort information Our front desk is open from 8am - 8pm. Late Check-In is available for arrivals after 8pm.

House Rules

Guest must agree to and sign a rental agreement.
A photo id is required for the credit card holder paying for the reservation.
IMPORTANT: Your reservation is not confirmed until a signed rental agreement and photo id is received within 72 hours of booking for arrivals within 30 days (and 7 days for arrivals greater than 30 days out)
If two separate credit cards are used for a reservation, a photo id for each cardholder is required prior to check-in

Payment Policy

Payment in Full due at the time of Booking

Refundable Damage Deposit

Your $225.00 Security Deposit will be returned to you 7 days after you check out, assuming there is no damage to the condo.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the nature of the vacation rental business, we cannot accept cancellations occurring later than 60 days prior to the arrival date. You will forfeit all sums paid unless we are able to re-rent the property, in which case we will refund an amount equal to any subsequent rental less a $150 handling fee. If a cancellation occurs prior to 60 days of arrival, full refund will be issued less a $150 handling fee.

Requests to shorten a stay or change dates will incur a $100 processing charge and/or difference in rate of the new dates. No dates changes within 60 days of your arrival date.

It is highly recommended guest purchase trip cancellation/interruption insurance in case of family emergencies, funerals, bad weather delays, flight/rental car cancellations, job loss, snow/ice, Covid-19 bans/restrictions, early departures, etc. If you live in an area prone to hurricanes, forest fires, etc. and cannot make your trip, please seek reimbursement through your travel insurance. Please check what travel insurance your credit card may offer.

For stays less than 10 days guests will pay a $265+ tax
For stays of 10+ days, an additional $95+tax mid-stay cleaning fee will be charged ($265 + $85 + tax = total cleaning fee)
