This is an ideal choice for families, couples and friends. We provide beach chairs, coolers, drip coffee makers, full sets of bath and beach towels and lots more adding to the convenience and value. Locally owned and managed.

The space I designed our home to harness the cooling trade winds then added high quality ductless AC units for those occasional warm Hawaiian nights. Exclusive covered parking at your front door is especially welcome in contrast to hotels or condos. Hot water and electricity are provided by the abundant Hawaiian sunshine with seamless automatic backup if needed.

Families are welcome. We have a baby gate for the stairs, high-chair and a pak-n-play portable crib. We even have a beach wagon.

Best of all there is no need to pile into a car and drive. Just walk around the corner to the first of a string of beaches.

House setup:

Bedroom 1 (upstairs): king size bed.

Bedroom 2 (upstairs): 2 singles OR 1 king.

Bedroom 3 (downstairs): 2 singles OR 1 king.

House total: 3 to 5 beds.

We have bedding for up to 6 guests. No sofa sleepers or futons.

For king size beds, the twins are secured with heavy horizontal straps and center piece then covered with king size toppers and quality bedding. We'll have everything set to your preference before arrival. This really is a comfortable as attested by our many returning guests.

We provide amenities like beach chairs and coolers but recommend guests bring their own masks, snorkels, fins and life jackets, if desired, to ensure proper fit. Additional items like beach umbrellas and boogies boards may be found at the house but are not part of our inventory so are not stocked or replaced. Also noted, 100+% of the cleaning fee goes to our housekeeper.

Guest access: You will have exclusive access to all areas, garden and covered parking for this freestanding private home.

Other things to note: Our home is among the closest to Poipu Beach Park with its protected shallow sandy lagoon, lifeguard, wide open grassy areas and playground equipment over a spongy ground surface. There is also superb snorkeling in the adjacent bay, body surfing and boogie boarding at Brennecke's Beach and board surfing on the outer reefs.

Located on the sunny side of the island, convenient to beaches with a partial ocean view, yet set back and landscaped for privacy. Enjoy coastal walks starting from your front door. Head east for the Mahaluepu Coastline or west for a variety of surfing and snorkeling beaches. Shopping and dining are also nearby. The Poipu area offers great swimming and snorkeling even in the winter when Hawaii's famously large surf rolls in to the north and west coasts.

Poipu is centrally located with the verdant north shore about an hour away and the spectacular Waimea Canyon, Kokee State Park and west side beaches about an hour in the opposite direction.
