As soon as you arrive at Riverpoint, you'll be greeted by its striking dark blue and white A-Frame exterior and charming riverfront setting. Newly renovated and designed for year-round getaways, Riverpoint blends modern comforts with the character of a waterfront cabin.

Step inside the light-filled, open-concept living room, where a cozy fireplace and oversized velvet sectional create plenty of space to relax and reconnect. Settle in for a movie on the 75-inch Roku TV or simply enjoy time together after a day on the river.

The fully equipped chef's kitchen is ready for everything from family breakfasts to group dinners. An Italian Verona electric range features dual ovens, so you can cook dinner in one and dessert in the other. You'll also find an espresso machine, Keurig, and a generous selection of cookware and baking essentials.

On the main level, two beautifully designed bedrooms each feature California king beds, wall murals, and 50-inch Roku TVs. A full bathroom with a marble vanity and bathtub is also located on this floor.

Head up the floating staircase to the second floor, where the primary bedroom offers a California king bed, 55-inch Roku TV, and dedicated workspace with high-speed Wi-Fi. The en-suite bathroom features a rain shower for a spa-like start or end to your day.

Also on the second floor is a spacious bedroom with two queen beds and twin trundles underneath. A small staircase leads to the attic loft, where you'll find a reading nook, yoga space, bean bag lounge, disco ball, and record player.

Downstairs, the basement is an entertainment haven. Challenge your group to air hockey or board games, then mix a drink at the bar, complete with a beverage refrigerator and milkshake station.

Ready for movie night? The dedicated movie room features an 85-inch Google TV, plenty of seating, cozy blankets and pillows, and an old-school kettle popcorn machine for the full theater experience.

The basement also includes a bedroom with a full-size bed and twin trundle, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a mudroom with a washer and dryer—perfect after a day of canoeing or exploring Southern Maryland.

A second fireplace and cozy blue sleeper sofa create a quiet spot to curl up with a book, while a second dining area with bench seating offers even more room for your group to gather.

Outside is where Riverpoint truly shines. Sip your morning coffee on the deck, relax in a bean bag chair or at the bistro set, and end the day in the 7-person hot tub tucked beneath the deck.

Visit the A-Frame boathouse, where canoes, life jackets, and paddles are provided for guests. The floating dock and canoe launch make it easy to head out and explore the Port Tobacco River.

Spend the afternoon fishing from a canoe, watch for bald eagles along the river, or slow down with a nap in the hammock. As evening arrives, relax in the hot tub or gather around the riverside firepit for s'mores and stories.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS
Guests must: (1) read our entire listing and house rules section, (2) sign our rental agreement and submit a refundable security deposit hold* within 48 hours after booking (or your reservation will be cancelled), (3) upload a photo ID, and (4) full payment prior to check-in.
*Security deposit hold required of $250.00. Deposit hold to be processed by host on guest's credit card. Deposit hold will be taken out 3 days prior to check-in and returned in full 7 days after check out, absent damages/violations, if any.

Pricing of our home is on a per guest and per pet basis and applies to the entire reservation length (regardless if some guests / pets are only visiting, won't be sleeping over on certain nights, etc.) - we ask all guests to enter the total number of guests / pets that will enter our home when booking, to see accurate pricing and avoid price changes for additional guests / pets added after booking.

There are cameras on the exterior of the home. They are motion activated, record video and audio, and are active during reservations. This helps us to avoid unauthorized events / parties. Our goal is for our guests and neighbors to both have an enjoyable experience!

As our home has 4 levels, temperature variation between floors is normal. While the home has central HVAC, individual levels may feel warmer or cooler than others. Each room has a window, ceiling fan and HVAC vent to be able to adjust for individual temperature preference.

🧻 Sensitive Septic System
The house is on a septic system and well water system. We ask guests to please not flush any items other than toilet paper to avoid any issues / fees.

🐞 Wildlife/Bugs
Expect to encounter wildlife. We regularly see deer in the neighborhood, ducks swimming in the river and many squirrels. There will be bugs! A cost of being in the woods and close to water. Consider packing bug spray, and please keep all screens to the house closed.

🚙 Parking
The house has a long driveway, carport and front gravel parking area. It can accommodate up to 7-8 vehicles.

🛶 Dock / Water Access
We live in a tidal water area, which means there are typically 2 high tides and 2 low tides per day. During low tides, there may not be enough water in the canal to use the canoes.

🦮 Pet limitations
We are unable to accommodate animals other than dogs at this time.
