I'm a native of Colorado but have traveled all over the world. I keep returning to Mexico. I usually stay in rental homes, and decided I needed one of my own. After a career in an office, the openness of the beach and the Pacific appealed to me. When I retired, I chose La Penita as my new home.
I love Mexico, its people and culture, and its climate. I look out at the Pacific every time I leave the house. What's not to love? I wanted a place that was close to an international airport for the convenience for family and friends, but far enough away to be out of the frenzy of the tourist areas. My neighborhood is a slice of Mexican life - families, businesses, a school, recreation, great neighbors - and I am in the middle of it, drinking in all that La Penita has to offer.
