Our screened porch is a wonderful place to listen to the rain and Jekyll Sandpiper renters are likely to find that thunderstorms are short lived. Just wait and the sun is likely to be shining in no time. But on those days where the rain just wont stay away try one of these activities.

GSTC - Georgia Sea Turtle Center - Working Veterinary Hospital
A favorite attraction of many Jekyll Sandpiper Vacation guests. The center is a museum and a working sea turtle hospital. A place where visitors can learn about turtles and see them as they heal before being released back into Jekyll's waters.

Tidelands Nature Center - Georgia 4-H Programs on Jekyll
Jekyll's nature center is run by the Georgia 4-H program. Their programs offer locals and visitors many education and fun programs, focused on coastal ecology. Learn about tide creeks, shore birds, and local fish as you take a kayak tour, go for a nature walk or enjoy the center's exhibits. Jekyll Sandpiper renters might also be interested in Tideland's day camps.
