Enjoy a fun filled day of water slides, floating in the lazy river or swimming in the Frantic Atlantic Wave Pool at this Jekyll Island amusement park. We often here the stories of adults returning to Jekyll so they can share the island with their children. So many of our Jekyll Sandpiper visitors have fond childhood memories of Jekyll. The island is a playground for all ages, with days of fun filled activities for all to enjoy.
Jekyll Sandpiper renters are sure to enjoy a ride atop these friendly horses. A sunset tour departs from the Three Oaks Farm horse corral almost every day. Carriage rides through the historic district and beach horseback rides should be booked in advance.
Jekyll Sandpiper renters will love the multiple avenues available for exploring the island. Snag a bike from the garage and ride our miles of trails. Take a horseback ride on the beach or pick from one of four golf courses for your enjoyment. In the summer months, kids can cool off at Summer Waves, the island's water park.
Jekyll's Miniature Golf complex offers two 18-hole options, with one course being a bit more difficult than the other. Both courses are decorated with island themes, such as Faith Chapel, a Georgia Bulldog, a Florida Gator and a St. Simon's Lighthouse. Jekyll Sandpiper guests will pass the complex as the drive to our cottage. Behind the golf is a public playground, with swings, a slide and mini-rock wall.
A favorite attraction of many Jekyll Sandpiper Vacation guests. The center is a museum and a working sea turtle hospital. A place where visitors can learn about turtles and see them as they heal before being released back into Jekyll's waters.
