Jekyll Sandpiper renters are sure to enjoy a ride atop these friendly horses. A sunset tour departs from the Three Oaks Farm horse corral almost every day. Carriage rides through the historic district and beach horseback rides should be booked in advance.
Start your day off with exercise that will cool you off. Jekyll Sandpiper visitors can attend Water Aerobics and Walk the River events weekday mornings at the Jekyll Summer Waves Waterpark. No signup required.
Jekyll Sandpiper renters will love the multiple avenues available for exploring the island. Snag a bike from the garage and ride our miles of trails. Take a horseback ride on the beach or pick from one of four golf courses for your enjoyment. In the summer months, kids can cool off at Summer Waves, the island's water park.
Jekyll's Miniature Golf complex offers two 18-hole options, with one course being a bit more difficult than the other. Both courses are decorated with island themes, such as Faith Chapel, a Georgia Bulldog, a Florida Gator and a St. Simon's Lighthouse. Jekyll Sandpiper guests will pass the complex as the drive to our cottage. Behind the golf is a public playground, with swings, a slide and mini-rock wall.
Biking, hiking and walking can be very beautiful at sunrise on the island. Jekyll Sandpiper renters have only a short walk that leads to miles of beaches to explore.
Held every year during the last weekend in October. Jekyll Sandpiper renters can compete in the golf tournament before enjoying the football game. Event also includes opportunities for socializing at an event breakfast and tailgate party.
