1. Charles C. Haigh, Jr. Fishing Pier on Pinckney Island - One of the most popular fishing spots on Hilton Head Island, the C.C. Haigh Pier is on the south-end of the island on Mckay Creek and the Intracoastal Waterway. The CC. Haigh Pier allows saltwater fishing year-round and it is FREE!
2. Daufuskie Island - Accessible only by boat (don't worry, there is a ferry!), this quiet island is the perfect day-trip destination. There are creek, streams, and access to the Intracoastal Waterway, all of which are perfect for public fishing. There is a fishing dock and restrooms available as well.
