You can book your tee time online easily - it must be within 2 weeks of desired date (they hold all dates privately until 14 days prior). If you want to make travel arrangements before that time, simply call the pro shop and they will let you know if there are any tournaments or events for your specified dates and can give you an idea of the best dates for tee times opening up. I am a member of Sawgrass Country Club (private club) and have a home a block from the beach at Sawgrass - this is how I book my tee times at Stadium and Dye's Valley. I have never had an issue and the pro shop is most accommodating - even for larger travel groups. You do NOT have to stay at the Marriott as many people claim.
