Soak in the California sun relaxing in this private heated 33 foot lap pool and hot tub.

On clear days, you can watch the sail boats out of Moss Landing on the bay and kayakers paddling Elkhorn Slough.

Gather in the main living room to relax after a day of exploring Monterey or Santa Cruz.

The bird cage in the corner is well over a half of a century old. The brass noodle cart was used by a vendor in Hong Kong about that long ago. The credenza houses games and puzzles now, but 50 years ago it held the good dishes.

The dining room looks right out onto the pool deck.

Sci-fi and action movies from Prime or Netflix sound and look great on this Sony TV. Hulu, Disney and HBO Plus are also great. All stream for free. There is no log in and try to remember to log out in order to watch a movie!

Enjoy the beautiful view from this large room with a comfortable bed and a private patio. Add some seed to the window bird feeder and wake up to the sounds of a California Towhee Breakfast.

The Salinas Rodeo started in 1911 as a Wild West Show. Salinas is now a major stop on the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association circuit. If you are here in mid July, you should make plans to go (even if it isn't your first rodeo).

The Amtrack Coast Starlight train winds through this scene twice a day. On clear days, you can see sail boats cruise the coast.

Privacy abounds on 2.5 fully fenced and gated acres.

A pair of hawks, a family of owls, an eagle and a large variety of other birds live in the trees along the well road.

10 minutes from the house rafts of otters nap.

A large variety of different types of whales migrate through the Monterey Bay year-round. Depending on the month you are visiting, you may see Humpbacks, Orcas, Blue or Gray whales. There are two whale watching tours in closeby Moss Landing Harbor.

The boardwalk beach access in Moss Landing is 15 minutes from house.

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is 25 minutes away.

Bellissima casa isolata su 2,5 acri completamente recintati. Adatta per famiglie e cani con piscina riscaldata privata e spa. Vista splendida!

Questa casa di lusso con piscina privata, vasca idromassaggio e spazio è tua da godere appieno. Nascosta su una collina, con una vista fantastica sull'estuario di Elkhorn Slough e sulla baia di Monterey, questa casa appartata sembra lontana dal mondo frenetico, ma si trova a solo 25 minuti da Monterey e 25 minuti da Santa Cruz. Kayak, avvistamento di balene e la spiaggia più vicina sono a 15 minuti di distanza.

The house is on one level except the second living room which is a 1/2 step down. We have a wheelchair ramp that bolts into the front door threshold that we place for guest that need it as well as toilet grab bars, a shower seat and more. Please ask.

My wife and I are retired. We like taking our dog, Birch, to off leash dog parks. We also like spending time with family and friends and watching sci-fi shows. We were surprised to find out how much we enjoy hosting and how gratifying it is to help people really enjoy themselves.
