Sea Breeze Cottage is a fun and nicely decorated, traditional beach cottage that sleeps, and is set up for, 8 people. Enjoy 4 bedrooms (3 queen beds and two twin beds), 2 full bathrooms, 1 enclosed outside shower, a fully furnished kitchen, a comfortably furnished living room, and dining room, air conditioned game area with foosball and darts, wireless high-speed internet (WIFI), and a washer and dryer located on the main level. Each bedroom has a Smart streaming TV with a DVD player. The living area features a gas fireplace (for use from November to March only - it is disabled April through October), and a new 4K UHD Smart flat-screen TV with a Blu-ray DVD player. The cottage affords beautiful views of the sunrise from the newly furnished front deck, and the back deck affords views of the pond, pool, and National Seashore Park. Enjoy cooling off in the private saltwater pool (available May through September). Unwind in the hot tub while enjoying spectacular sunsets, take some time to relax in the chairs at the pond, and feed the fish and turtles! Let the ocean breeze drift over you as you relax in the hammock and listen to the sea meet the shore. The beach is only a 2-minute walk away! Build sandcastles, collect shells, wash your cares away with a swim in the ocean, or cast your fishing line just minutes from your cottage at one of the nearby piers or a short drive (4 miles) to the world-famous Oregon Inlet Fishing Center! For your convenience, there's an outdoor fish cleaning station, outdoor grill, enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold running water, and carport/driveway parking for up to 4 vehicles. The cottage layout is perfect for a family to share, or 2 small families. Sea Breeze Cottage is conveniently located close to restaurants, shore/water activities, surf fishing/charter fishing areas, shopping areas, and the National Seashore Park. Visit the nearby historic areas such as the Lost Colony, the Wright Brothers First Flight Museum, and lighthouses. The 2025 season brought... New flooring in the kitchen, living room, dining room, and hallway. and a new roof, soffits, and gutters. Added to the living room were end tables and lamps with outlets and USB charging ports. In 2023, the heating and air conditioning system was replaced, and the ceiling was redone and painted, along with a new electrical meter box. In the 2022 season, upgrades included a front deck, outdoor shower, and game room ductless heat pump system. Prior years' upgrades included new granite countertops, living room furniture with six (6) reclining sofa chairs (all living area chairs recline), pub-style table & chairs seating for 8. Both bathrooms were renovated, one with a high-end shower! As well, there was a new front deck and stairs, gas fireplace (November through March), along with new windows and sliding doors. Note: We are doing our best to help prevent the spread of the virus and protect our guests. We have adopted a stringent housekeeping, cleaning, and sanitation program along with supplying clean and sanitized bed linens, bath towels, bath mats, and kitchen towels. We do ask our guests to do their part and follow the CDC, State, and Local guidelines in the prevention of spreading sickness/viruses/bacteria, so we also have some cleaning supplies available for our guests. Notice: Security cameras are on the property and active only during the off-season, October 1st through April 30th.
