Whatcom County vacation rentals

My sister and I were fortunate enough to stumble across this little gem when looking for a place to stay near the areas we planned to explore and hike. The entire cabin was very new looking and extremely clean. The kitchen was fully stocked, the bathrooms were equipped with shampoo, conditioner, soap, makeup remover and soft towels. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms had plenty of closet space and storage for our clothing. There is a fireplace and heated floors although we didn’t use either. There were a couple very plush blankets to wrap up in in the evenings which we really enjoyed. There is a washer and dryer available and also a hot tub out back. We saw there were roasting sticks to be used at the firepit, when fires are allowed, and also a grill. There are also some outdoor games available. Some snacks, drinks and a bottle of wine were in the fridge when we arrived as well. There were so many thoughtful touches, it would be hard to list them all. Kate was very pleasant to communicate with and very quick with replies. This cabin is a gem and one we are already making plans to return to. We highly recommend it!

Baker Place Cabin is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay when visiting the Mount Baker National Forest area. It’s in close proximity to so many amazing hikes and delicious places to eat. The cabin is well appointed and has everything you could want while adventuring and hiking. The hot tub was especially nice after a long day of hiking and wildlife viewing. We would definitely stay here again and hope to visit in winter time.

Great hosts, really nice and helpful, very quick with communication. The location is far from downtown but not that far (12 min. drive most days), and it's close enough to other places to go with restaurants and stores, etc. The space is clean and a good size. Quiet neighborhood, which is great. The walls are supposed to be sound-proofed, but you still very clearly hear talking and laughing through them. But not very often and never late. Also, this is only noticed in the living room, not in the bedroom at all. I have a lot of sensitivity to noise in the many places where I stay but I would stay here again for sure.

I spent a lovely week at Lesley's. The location was perfect for me and the tiny home had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Lesley was a great host.
