Bowen Island vacation rentals

Had a great time at the guest house and Chris the concierge was really helpful and responsive. I would've loved to have a heads up for food and transit before arriving: - The cafe that is closest and not all the way back by the dock had permanently closed the week before we visited apparently but g-maps still showed it was open, we went there on our first day walking in the snow since the bus only goes every hour and since it was closed and too late to make it to town we were starving until the next day. - This island is not really made for walking, it's made for cars. But locals seem to be very nice and it's apparently normal to hitch-hike in here. - The bedroom has a big ceiling window and one of the curtains is very thin so the stairs' light and sky illuminate the bedroom a lot during the night. The owner has ordered some blinds for the ceiling window though and if you ask the concierge you can get some helpful eye-masks.

We enjoyed our stay at the Pebbly Beach Airbnb. The unit is separate from the main house with its own gate and entrance. The space was clean and cozy. Chris was responsive and provided clear check in and check out instructions. I would highly recommend other travelers to stay here.

Our trip to Bowen Island was highlighted by a great stay in this home. We stayed two nights. My family of 4, along with friends (2 other couples). There was plenty of space to all hang together (inside and out) or have some privacy. We were able to walk to town, the beach and park. The home had everything we needed from beach towels to coffee to games.
