Seasonal rates allow hosts to set rates based on specific times of year, certain holidays, etc.

For example: if you are in the U.S., your property's peak season may run from Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day weekend. For others, their peak season might be in the middle of winter ski season, with their slowest season during the hot summer months.

Many hosts will create a "season" for the busy and slow periods. The might name a busy period: "Peak Season" or "Prime Season Dates."
