Laura was definitely a great host, she always responded back immediately. The house was just as described, very clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of beds and space for everyone to be comfortable. Towels, linens and beds were all nice and comfortable. They offered games to play, have nice balcony’s with decent views. We can’t forget the relaxing hammock! Our only minor complaint was that the back yard wasn’t mowed the grass was really tall so it was hard to enjoy the fire pit area. We still used it and enjoyed ourselves but it was a little annoying since this was a huge reason we rented the home. We cooked a lot so we ended up using the two garbage bags that were there, and they had none available. These are very minor issues that definitely don’t change how we feel about our stay. A nice quick walk to the beach access around the corner. We really enjoyed our time here and we thank you for a great stay! We would definitely stay again in the future.

This was our first time using Airbnb, and we couldn't be more pleased First, the communication and ease of booking was wonderful. Jennifer was a great host (though we never met). We were sent information about the house, as well as, the area. We really enjoyed the keyless entree! The place was extremely clean (this is one of the top things on my list!). Everything functioned well. The place was seriously exactly what we hoped! It was just me and my husband, so there was more than enough room! We like riding bikes and found a wonderful trail on the bayside. We didn't need to drive to it. The beach was not far, but we chose to drive and park closer. We had no issues with that at all. We were very happy to enjoy the beach chairs that were provided at the home too! Thank you!! The beach was beautiful! There a plenty of great restaurants around, and convenient to grocery stores, department stores, gas, etc. We loved the location, and explored a lot. It was also our first time in the OBX. Non home related, our 2 big recommendations for the OBX would be to visit the Wright's Brother's Memorial and to visit Jockey's Ridge state park. Both were amazing. We loved the whole stay and would certainly would return! We absolutely recommend staying at Jennifer's cozy beach house !! Thank you so much for our gifts and everything! We enjoyed your restaurant gift certificate!!!

Imagine leisurely sipping your morning coffee gazing at a fenced back yard filled with peach and yellow morning glories just beginning to open. With your dogs at your side, share the quiet time eating breakfast at the picnic table. Then take your family for a short walk to the public beach access area where you enjoy the gentle breeze of the ocean. Soak in the sun and peacefulness of Kill Devil Hills for the morning. Along the way back to the cottage be sure to visit the Stop & Shop for lunch with the locals or to pick up some souvenirs to remember this wonderful time. Spend the afternoon at the nearby Wright Brothers Memorial learning about the beginning of aviation. Buy your family's favorites at the Food Lion you see on your way home, to cook on the barbecue grill in the backyard . Once again the morning glories are opening as you spend quality time with your family until the sun sets. Walk two blocks to the Dairy Queen for an easy dessert that all the family will enjoy. Come inside to relax in the perfect two bedroom cottage which is simple and elegantly decorated in a soothing beach decor. The leather furniture is great for humans and their four legged family. The comfort and flow of the bungalow is warm, cozy and inviting. Your day is complete and it's only day one of your vacation. This is my first choice for future rentals. Location location location - this cottage has that and so much more.

Being our first Airbnb house, I can say this was a true pleasure to stay at. You couldn't ask for a cleaner house on arrival. The towels that were left for us were super soft and clean, and so were the sheets and beds. The house is located very conveniently to many things to do, and just a short stroll to the beach access. Parking under the house was a little tight for my big Z71 truck, so be aware of that when deciding what car to take with you. Also the neighbors are very nice and were never loud in the least. The house was very nicely decorated and great for our family of 5. All the kids got to choose their own room which was a real joy for them. It's not something they can do at home. The outdoor shower (which had both hot and cold water) and clothesline was also very nice and convenient when coming back from the beach. The house also included a TCL Smart TV in every room except the bunk-bed room, which was a really nice touch. The sound machines in each room were also very helpful. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were a little too flat for my personal liking in the master bedroom, so you may want to consider bringing your own from home. I would suggest to future stayers though, as a bit of advice, to bring empty plastic food containers (if you are the type to cook at home as we did). After cooking at the house, we quickly learned that we didn't have any way to store leftovers for the next day. The pots and pans that were included at the house are a mixed bag of things, which was okay, but it may limit what you plan to cook. Also, Publix was very close by, but be ware that prices are much higher on OBX than what you normally see if you live in the inland area of NC. We very much enjoyed our stay here, and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in the area. We look forward to another stay here in the future. These are great hosts!

This property was better than advertised. Jeremy is a great communicator from the beginning of booking the property until the end. We rented it out to spend a week with the family and attend a nearby wedding. The kitchen and every room was very organized and had everything you needed, to help save room on packing. He even had a high chair and a pack and play that we used for our 8 month old to sleep in. From location to the beach, grocery stores, and entertainment, this house checks the box for everything you will need for a week at the beach. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again in the future.

Our stay at Mike and Michele's was comfortable and had all the amenities of home that allowed us to settle in quickly. The pictures provided were an accurate representation of their home and allowed me to preplan for some child proofing needs (number of sliding glass doors, exterior doorknobs). The neighborhood is peaceful at night with quiet hours between 11PM and 7AM. The kids enjoyed having the option of the game room and my son loved the Minecraft books that were available. The kids absolutely loved the pool. The pool is less busy in the morning and we found it better to get pool hours in then versus the afternoon when there were more teenagers and adults; there is no lifeguard and not everyone is so diligent in watching their children. Mike and Michele were highly responsive when we had questions or feedback. It was also really nice not to have to worry about bringing all the beach items as they were provided by Mike and Michelle. Our van was packed without it!

My family had a wonderful time at Jason’s condo The Sassy Sea Turtle! Jason was an incredible host from start to finish, accommodating our family in several unique situations including a broken down vehicle. The condo was beautiful and so relaxing. We’ve been coming to the OBX for over 20 years and this was our favorite place we’ve ever stayed. The community is family friendly with pool access for the kids and literally a straight drive to the beach. Amazing restaurants are close by as well as grocery stores. We will definitely return!!

This house was clean and comfortable. We felt truly welcome with the extra treats! There were great family games and a couple bicycles too. It’s not quite close enough to walk to the beach but we did enjoy walking to the sound. Thank you for sharing your home!
