Bolivar Peninsula vacation rentals

We rented this beach house for our wedding and it could not have been more perfect. I could not believe how nice this home was and all of the amenities and accommodations Dan offers. The weather thank goodness was definitely in our favor which was even more perfect. We had our ceremony rite their on the beach in front of the house on 6/13 on a Monday , we had our reception underneath the home and decorated it to perfection. This definetly gave us the dream wedding I have always wanted to the tee plus more. The bedrooms were great and the upstairs master bedroom and bathroom were perfect for me as the bride to get ready with my wedding party. The deck is so spacious and the view is absolutely breath taking, it was so nice to just sit on the deck and watch the waves, dance and have all of my family and friends together. The upstairs master also has a private deck which was great for my new husband and I to relax by our selves and drink coffee. The smart home features are great to literally control everything in the home. The radio worked throughout the entire home and outside , it was pretty nice. Dan was very good about calling us to see if we needed anything and to help with the Internet. The house also has 2 queen size airmattress that we didn't need but definitely awesome to have available if needed. The AC worked great, the laundry room has a brand new washer and dryer and even comes with everything you need to do laundry, I thought that was great. My wedding photos that I have so far have come out breathtaking with the stair way for me to come down in my wedding dress to the nice stairway in front of the beach house we had all decorated, it was picture perfect. I have nothing but great things to say about this home and Dan. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND and we definetly want to book it again real soon.

My sisters, Mom, and our families (kids ages 5 yrs - 14 years) recently stayed at this property for a family beach vacation. We had a lovely and magical time. The property is as described and Jaclyn is a wonderful host. We had several questions prior to arriving and Jaclyn was very responsive and thorough. The place was well stocked with amenities to make our stay more convenient and enjoyable, including plenty of beach and bath towels, which were perfect for our large group. The master suite is large and is a getaway all in itself. The kids' room is so smartly designed and is a fun place for them to enjoy after a day at the beach and with ample space for the kids to comfortably sleep and be rested for the next beach day. And beyond this, the property is decorated with such style and fun; the ambiance definitely elevates the beach mood! We had a wonderful stay, it was perfect for our family beach time. We seriously enjoyed our yearly Galveston cousins trip this year at Panorama! This was our 4th annual and we’ve had a different house each time. This one BY FAR was our favorite. Proximity to the water is unmatched. The house was very spacious and had all the supplies needed for a 3 night stay. The home was extremely clean, cold AC, super comfy mattresses/pillows, nice TVs in the rooms. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking/eating supplies. The ocean views from inside the home were stunning when the blinds are pushed up. Seating inside and outside was abundant. I have zero complaints about this home. Just two suggestions for renters/owner is more indoor showering & wash rag size towels (Beach towels were plentiful). And then the rugs by the deck doors need an anti slip pad (we ended up moving them out of the way). Those literally are the only two things I’d change but certainly nothing major. WiFi can be spotty at times but it was really windy the first two days we were there so could be that. Just use ur data/hotspot and you’re good to go! Overall the stay gets a 10/10 from us!!!! This will definitely be a repeat house for us in the coming years. Big thank you to Jaclyn for allowing us your gorgeous home!!!

I got so carried away in just the title. And that's just the outside when you go inside it is very quaint and very comfortable. It has everything you need and it was perfect for Just the Two of Us. I will definitely be staying there again and I thoroughly recommend it. And the host and hostess are the best. If you need anything they respond right away and they are the sweetest couple. I recommend it for anyone wanting a girls weekend or just a small little getaway for you and your significant other. Five stars for sure

We had a pleasure to stay on the property for 12 days. My wife, our cat and I had a wonderful time there. First of all the location is great if you want to have a calm and peaceful vacation. The beach is about 2 min of waking distance form the house. The beach is great, all sand. The water is ok, but I guess this is the water in all Galveston area. You can't compare water with to FL, but still nice and clean water. Cars are allowed to drive on the beach. I was a bit cautious about it, but there was no slightest issue with that. People were friendly and they waved all the time they drove by. The house is just great, there is literally everything there for a living. I really mean that. All clean, new appliances, furniture. So we felt home there. There is a restaurant there, Stingarey, there is waiting time, but the sea food was ok. We were not impressed. We bought fresh sea food in Galveston and grilled home. It was great food. Ferry to Galveston is not a problem and free. It goes fast, almost no waiting time. Also there was a supermarket, liquor store and a fresh bakery there. Home owner, Jaclyn, was great, very fast responses if there were questions and also helpful. Our cat load the house, he was busy all the time waking on a huge the balcony and enjoying the nature and birds. Neighbors were great, nice, polite people. So if you are planing to go Galveston area and want to enjoy the water and ocean, I would strongly recommend this house.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rayo de Sol. This home has a convenient location right off of the highway and just a short little walk to the beach with no excess traffic. The neighborhood is small and quiet which makes for a peaceful stay. The beach in front of the neighborhood was also quiet and not crowded one bit. When you first arrive, you'll find that there is plenty of room downstairs for games and hanging out. Upstairs, the balcony is large and has plenty of seating. You can hear and see the waves from there, which adds a peaceful touch. Inside, pops of yellow provide a cheerful mood. The home was clean and roomy and was well stocked. We thought the beds were very comfy and loved the soft pillows. We greatly appreciated that a pack and play and a high chair was provided as we traveled with a 1 year old. Very nice touch. Other nice little touches were a few toys for very young children, the hammock, soap in the outdoor shower, choice of grills, a cooler and the so much fun, colorful party lights. We highly recommend this home. Thank you for sharing it with us!

This house was full of a lot of extras. Furnished linens is great, even furnished beach towels. The kitchen had everything anyone would need, complete with indoor and outdoor cooking tools. Nice living area with large couches and plenty of sitting. There are 21 steps to the stairs but they were not steep and easy for this old person to navigate. The cargo life is a huge plus for us. The outdoor area has fun bar area with extras, a nice firepit, toys for kids and adults. There were even beach toys for your use. Large shower area with tall sides and bench inside made washing down the kids easy. Close to beach with car and golf cart access. Close to many restaurants and other activities. We brought many things with us that we did not need because so much was furnished, shampoo, conditioner, lotions, and even sunscreen. Plenty of bathrooms items and paper towels. Jamie's should be proud of what is offered. I would stay again.

Our family took our vacation just after Christmas to go to the beach. The best part of going to Bolivar, TX is that we get to ride the ferry. My kids love it and this year my mom got to experience it. We had lovely weather in the 70's even though the water was 55 degrees. But my kids act like it's summer and were swimming in the ocean. We really took time to relax and enjoyed walking on the beach and meeting people on the beach. And we searched for sharks teeth. That was fun :) We also got to enjoy New Year's Eve at the Texas Peach. This house gave us a great view of the beach. So our family sat outside on the top level with our blankets watching fireworks. It was awesome! Definitely, something I'd want to do often.
