Gold Creek Cabin Rental Rules
Please familiarize yourself with our house rules to ensure your stay is enjoyable
1. Arrival and departure:
Check-in time is after 4pm and check-out time is before 11am. Early check-ins and late checkouts may be available by request.
2. Smoking:
Smoking is NOT allowed anywhere on the property (inside or outside). A supplemental cleaning fee may be assessed to mitigate odor or residue from smoking.
3. Pets:
Pets are permitted only by prior arrangement. Pets are not allowed on furniture at any time. A supplemental cleaning fee may be assessed for excessive fur, odor or stains.
4. Parties:
Parties or events are NOT allowed on the property.
5. Maximum Occupancy:
Occupancy is limited to a maximum of twelve (12) people. People and Pets other than those in the Rental Party set forth above may not stay overnight in the Property. Behavior of Rental Party and any Visitors to the property are the sole responsibility of Guest. Guests are not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit at any time.
6. Quiet Hours:
Guests should be aware that noise carries in our rural neighborhood; quiet hours are 10pm to 7am per Amador County ordinance. Any disturbance requiring a response from law enforcement may result in immediate termination of occupancy without refund.
7. Parking:
There is ample parking behind the cabin. Please note the cabin is located on a gravel road and the speed limit is 10mph in order to keep dust levels down in the neighborhood.
8. Garbage:
Garbage and recycling should be taken out each Thursday night (for early morning Friday pickup) and at the end of the stay. Guests must keep the driveway clear from Thursday night to Friday morning for the garbage trucks. We will let you know if garbage service will change due to holidays.
9. Use of fireplaces and firepit: The fireplaces are vented propane gas fireplace heaters, and the firepit is an open flame outdoor propane fireplace. Please do not burn any paper or other combustible materials in these appliances. Due to wildfire risk, no other fires are allowed at the Property.
10. Water and Septic: The cabin is on a well and septic system. During a drought, the well water may have an odor. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that the septic system is clogged due to non-septic compatible flushed items, you may be charged for the repair.
11. Security: The cabin uses exterior security cameras. Cameras do not point into the interior of the house. Tampering with the cameras or internet router is prohibited.
