Escape From Manhattan is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, so we ask all guests to be respectful of our neighbors.

• No parties or events are permitted.
• Quiet hours are strictly enforced.
• Driveway parking is available for up to 2 vehicles. Please follow the provided parking instructions, as local street-parking regulations are enforced.
• Exterior security cameras and noise-monitoring devices are present for safety and neighborhood compliance. There are NO cameras inside the home.
• The private hot tub and outdoor areas are for registered guests only.
• Guests must follow all posted hot-tub and outdoor-area rules.
• Smart-lock self check-in is provided.
• For luggage loading and unloading at check-in and checkout, guests should use the designated rear-gate entrance as instructed.
• This is a private home in a residential community—not a party property.

SPACES: guess they’re not allowed access to the garage, locked closets or storage containers and any other spaces in the house designated for house use only i.e. electrical closet, water heater closet air-conditioning closet

Guests have private access to the home and designated outdoor guest areas during their reservation.

CHECK-IN & CHECKOUT: Please use the REAR GATE and enter the home through the BASEMENT DOOR. This entrance should also be used for luggage loading and unloading.

Guests may enjoy the private hot tub, outdoor lounge and fire pit area, game room and other designated guest spaces.

Restricted & Off-Limits Areas

For your safety and to protect the property, the following areas are STRICTLY OFF LIMITS to guests:

* Garage – The garage is not part of the rental and guests may not enter or access it.
* Owner’s closets – Any door or closet marked Owner, Private, or Staff Only is not for guest use.
* Locked cabinets and storage areas – Do not open, force, tamper with, or attempt to access any locked cabinet, drawer, closet, or storage area.
* Locked doors – Any locked interior or exterior door is a restricted area and must remain locked.
* Electrical / utility closets and panels – Guests may not access or tamper with electrical panels, breakers, utility equipment, wiring, plumbing controls, or mechanical equipment.
* HVAC / air-conditioning equipment – Do not access, unplug, reset, alter, or tamper with air-conditioning, heating, or HVAC equipment. Temperature adjustments should only be made using the guest-accessible thermostats.
* Maintenance areas – Any area containing property maintenance, cleaning, mechanical, networking, security, or other operating equipment is restricted unless the host specifically authorizes access.

Important: Locked or restricted areas are not included as part of the guest rental. Attempting to enter, unlock, force open, disable, unplug, or tamper with restricted areas or property equipment is prohibited and may result in charges for any resulting damage.

If you need assistance with the HVAC, electrical system, a locked area, or any property equipment, contact the host rather than attempting to access or repair it yourself.

Only registered guests are permitted on the property. Please keep the rear gate and all exterior doors securely closed and locked when entering or leaving.

We respect our guests’ privacy and want you to feel at home during your stay. Check-in is contactless using your unique smart-lock code.

We are available through the booking platform if you have questions or need assistance. We will not disturb you during your stay unless assistance is requested or there is an urgent property, safety or compliance issue.

You’ll be within convenient reach of Manhattan attractions, restaurants, shopping, entertainment and major transportation options while having the space and privacy of a full home to return to at the end of the day.

North Bergen and the surrounding Hudson County area offer restaurants, grocery stores, shopping and everyday conveniences nearby. Guests can also explore neighboring areas such as Weehawken, Hoboken and Jersey City, including waterfront areas with spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline.

The neighborhood itself is residential, so guests can escape the crowds after a busy day sightseeing. We ask everyone to be courteous to our neighbors and observe the property’s quiet hours.

It’s a great location for guests who want to experience New York City while enjoying more space, a private hot tub, outdoor area and game room back at home.

Getting to and around New York City is convenient from North Bergen. Guests have several transportation options, including local buses into Manhattan, rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft, and nearby ferry and rail connections.

Public transportation is often the easiest option for visiting Manhattan, especially when you want to avoid NYC traffic and parking costs.

Nearby Weehawken offers ferry service across the Hudson River to Manhattan, and additional transit options are available throughout Hudson County.

Guests who prefer to drive can easily access the surrounding New Jersey and NYC area, but we recommend using public transportation when sightseeing in Manhattan.

Escape From Manhattan is a private multi-level home designed for families and groups visiting the NYC area.

The home includes 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, multiple living and entertainment spaces, a game room with foosball, shuffleboard and arcade games, and a private outdoor area with hot tub, fire pit and seating.

Please note:

• The home has multiple levels and stairs.
• The property is located in a residential neighborhood, and guests must be considerate of our neighbors.
• Outdoor areas and the hot tub are subject to established quiet hours.
• Only registered guests are permitted on the property.
• Parties, events and unauthorized gatherings are not allowed.
• Exterior security cameras monitor outdoor areas and entrances. There are no cameras inside the home.
• Noise-monitoring devices may be used to monitor sound levels; they do not record conversations.
• Driveway parking is available for up to 2 vehicles. Street-parking restrictions may apply.
• Guests will receive detailed check-in, smart-lock, Wi-Fi, hot-tub and property instructions prior to arrival.
