Saco River Retreat - Fryeburg

Welcome FRIENDS to Fryeburg, Maine where you can float your worries away on the Saco River! Situated on 2.7 acres, this 4 bedroom, 3 bath home has 330ft of frontage on the Saco River. Use the available dock (June-October) to drop in a canoe, kayak, paddle board or tube. We currently have 1 canoe, 4 Kayaks ( 2 adult & 2 kid) , 2 paddle boards, floats & life jackets for your use.

You can take a 3 hour float (takes longer if you decide to stop and check out a few of the sandy beach inlets on the way) down the Saco River and be able to end right at our very own dock! Just a 5 minute drive from the house is a landing area to drop in your tubes to do this.

In the winter the property has direct access to snowmobile trails, no trailering needed! Take off from the F15 trail to ITS 80.

Ski bunnies can choose from 4 ski resorts-all within a 1/2 hr from the property. (The closest being Pleasant Mountain at 15 minutes away)

Fryeburg Maine is located on the border of New Hampshire which gives easy accessibility to the many attractions found in the North Conway area (a 15 minute drive from house) The town of Fryeburg hosts the legendary Fryeburg Fair, which each October attracts 300,000 visitors. The Fairgrounds also has a community flea market every Sunday starting Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

Additional Notes:

PLEASE NOTE that the Triple Bunk Bed has a weight capacity of 250lbs for each of the upper beds and 350lbs for the lower bed.

Even though our property sits on almost 3 acres, you will hear the occasional cars driving by when you're outside as we are located on a side street off of a Main Rd.

Speaking of the property, it's Maine so be prepared in the warmer months to see wildlife. Also bug & mosquitoes love to visit (recommend bringing additional bug repellent!) We do have our property sprayed once a month for tick & mosquito control.
