Marathon vacation rentals

Stay Anchored is a wonderful vacation home in a great location! It’s a newer, modern property with a dock and a private pool in the backyard. The house is well maintained, clean, and fully stocked with lots of kitchen items, games, beach towels, and even an abundance of bath towels including make up towels. The bedding and linens are good quality along with the house furnishing. The house has a great floor plan on 2 floors so each bedroom has a bit of privacy. We had great communication with the owner. He sends out lots of great information and the rental agreement is easy to understand. He checked in with us after arrival and departure. We felt we could reach out to him at anytime for anything. He made us feel very welcome. We have stayed at an identical house a few houses down the road, and Stay Anchored is superior. We are looking forward to returning in the future. No more spending hours looking through rental sites. We have found the one that meets all of our needs and wants at a great value.

Beautiful home with every boaters need to include bait freezer, ice machine, cleaning station and quick access to ocean side and marathon sandbar with Captain Hooks marina to gas up as well within minutes of the property. There is a local boat ramp 2 streets down and ample parking for your trailer in front of the house. There is also a gentleman at the end of aviator drive that sells chum at a great price. No better feeling than boating all day and coming home to an amazing pool and a full outdoor bbq,amazing tiki hut with some cocktails to close out the night. The house is beautifully decorated and SUPER CLEAN. Every detail has been covered in the layout. Our kids absolutely love the property as well. Best part of the property was the host Dialeny. She was available to answer any questions about the areaand was just a wonderful person to deal with. You will not be disappointed. ENJOY!

We have booked through Dolphin Vacations numerous times. Never been disappointed. Mary is AWESOME!! If we have a request or issue , it is addressed immediately. We will never book our Keys vacation with anyone else.

We loved the area we were in and the condo was quiet, nice and right on the beach! It is an older property but geez the price of fancier places that are not on the beach just can’t compare to this one. We loved our stay there!!

Key Colony Beach was perfect for our family vacation. Off the highway but still very convenient. Quiet but still plenty of activity and beautiful. The grounds at Sea Isle are meticulously maintained which created a very peaceful and relaxing setting. Diane's condo was perfect for us as well. It's located on the first floor which saved us from dragging our bags up stairs (no elevator). It was very spacious and clean. It had everything we needed including a small cooler. The condo is just a few yards from the beach and just a few steps from the pool. It was really windy the week we were there so we never got to experience the full clarity of the water. We still were able to snorkel and wade around the waters and see a few schools of small fish, especially around the rock jetties. Even with the winds, the waves on the beach were small enough that that even small kids would be safe. Our kids loved seeing the iguanas sunning themselves on the rocks. Diane provided great service and has a organized booking process. The security deposit was refunded quickly and fairly. The reference guide she provided (including restaurant suggestions) was spot on. Island Fish Co and Sunset Grille were two of our favorites. We enjoyed the seafood markets for lunch. Our favorite activity was wake boarding with Keys Cable. I would highly recommend Key Colony Beach and specifically Diane's condo to anyone looking for relaxing, beach-front lodging for their vacation in the Keys. We hope to visit again soon.

We came to the keys with my daughter and her husband and 2 kids , age 2 and 5. Lots of things to do in Marathon for kids. The place is very convenient and good restaurants nearby. The house is a little dated as many houses in Florida are, but very clean and pool and hot tub were great we went in April and I didn’t think we would need to heat the pool, but we did. Property managers got it heated right away. We had a little trouble with getting the hot tub heated , but again property managers responded quickly and got it adjusted. This is a lovely, well furnished and very clean three bedroom and 3 full bathroom home. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals if you choose not to dine out. Especially nice is the wide open gulf views before you through multiple glass sliding doors! Outdoors is wonderful as well; views and gardens. Featuring a beautiful pool, a hot tub, and plenty of seating and dining areas there are many spaces to enjoy. The neighborhood is a great place to walk far removed from route 1. Lastly, the office staff at Dolphin Vacations are extremely responsive and most helpful.

The stay started with a challenging check-in, the electronic door lock was very difficult to get in. Once inside the house met expectations based on the pictures in the listing. The house had no storage in the second and third bedroom for clothing, and did not have pillows in the master bed, except decorative pillow shams. The house had a lot of towels and plenty of essentials to get your stay started without having to travel to the store. They also had snorkeling gear, beach chairs, and an umbrella, a nice addition, and much needed for this location. The local beach, Sombrero Beach, is not too impressive. Make sure to take the trip to Bahia Honda State Park. It’s worth the extra time in the car to get to a much better beach. The house was recently renovated and is nice for the most part. The kitchen stove does not work too well. There’s a mildew/mold smell in the house, especially in the garage area. There was also some ants mainly in the kitchen area. Overall it was an okay stay.
