Mi Pueblito is a local Mexican favorite. There is one location in Rutherfordton, and another in Forest City. Owners, Cindy and Rodrigo, have been in business more than 20 years.
Their standard Mexican fare is a great choice for families on a budget. The restaurant can get packed at lunch time, but the service is generally very quick. Both restaurant locations offer a full service bar: margaritas, mojitos, domestic and imported beers, wine, and mixed drinks.
The Rutherfordton location is only 3/10ths of a mile from the Kid Senses Children's Museum, and 6/10ths of a mile from the Bechtler House.
