This is a personal favorite location that we spend a lot of our time at. Lake Atalanta is a local favorite because of the Hiking trails, mountain biking, dog park, play grounds, and a walking trail that goes around the lake (2.5 miles). Hiking Arkansas
Tanyard Creek This is a great area for anyone to check out. Restrooms and picnic tables are available near the parking lot. The 2.2 trail head starts on a paved path and later splits at multiple dirt trails. Following the main trail with take you to the waterfall. There are many other fun trails that loop over water, a floating bridge, and some cool rock ledges. Rating Level: Easy Kid Friendly Dog Friendly
