In 1995 I did The Artist's Way. It's a 12-week course you do yourself to clear your own inner blocks. Whatever it is you want to do, but somehow can't get there, this is a great course to help you. It's written for artists, but I used it to find the courage to quit my job and start my own private practice. One of the assignments was an artist's date. Every week you take yourself on an artist's date. That could be as simple as getting yourself a nice cup of coffee or taking off on an adventurous road trip for the day. My practice started in 1996 and I continue doing what I love......28 years!
This wonderful hike is just down the road from Vermont Cottage Lake Amherst. Take the dirt road from the cottage, turning left at the end of the driveway. Travel along until you get to a bridge and take a right over the bridge. Continue on until you come to Plymouth State Park.
