Large, family friendly, knotty pine cabin with 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a den which can be used as a 5th bedroom , 2 living rooms, 1 wood burning fireplace, 1 propane burning fire place, and a huge deck. 3 king beds, 6 twin beds, 1 crib, 1 pack n play, 1 bassinet, and 1 queen sofa bed.

Bear Cub Cabin is happy to provide everything you need for your family vacation: 2 Stokke high chairs for babies/toddlers, stuffed animals, baby monitors, night light & sound machine. We also have games, puzzles, books to borrow, and 3 large screen TV's. One of the tv's is on the deck!

Our yard and back deck are fully enclosed, making it easy to let your little ones run around! We have a kids playhouse, slide, water table, basketball hoop, beach toys and an adjustable height net to play badminton. Plus sleds in the winter!

The back deck is for kids of all ages. HOT TUB! Fire pit, BBQ, Blackstone, and outdoor prep area. Table and 6 chairs, kids table and 4 chairs, a hammock, and plenty of seating. Come enjoy the clean mountain air!

Enjoy Twain Harte Lake with your family and friends. Great for the entire family.

We have a SUP to borrow, floaties and life jackets. Plus The Shack is open at the Lake.

Easy walk in to town to play Mini Golf, pick up coffee or go out for lunch or dinner.

Bear Cub Cabin is a 5 minute walk to town. 20 miles to Pinecrest Lake, 22 miles to Dodge Ridge, 25 miles to Strawberry and Leland Snowplay.

Guests will receive a door code 24 hours prior to arrival.

House Rules

Thermostat: The thermostat for the central heating system is located to the left of the coffee/tea bar. Upon arrival the thermostat for the central heat will be set to 62 degrees. If your group is more comfortable at another temperature please feel free to adjust it accordingly. If you also use the wood burning or propane burning fireplaces please lower the central heat. If you’ll be away from the cabin for more than an hour please turn the heat down.

Wood burning fireplace in the living room: The firewood and kindling are to the right of the fireplace. Fire starters are on the top shelf of the corner cabinet to the left of the fireplace.

Propane burning fireplace in the upstairs loft: The controls are located towards the floor. The pilot light should already be lit and visible. Gently press in the Pilot knob and twist to the ON position. Next you turn the Lo-Hi knob to increase the flame. Lastly, you toggle the switch on the top right back of the unit.

There are white string lights on the front porch and along the white picket fence. They are on timers, please leave them plugged in.

Cleaning supplies can be found in the cabinet above the dryer, and also in the closet to the right of the dryer.

The trash compactor does not work, however, there is a trash can in the compactor drawer.

Trash Pick up is every Monday. If you are staying on a Sunday night please make sure the can is placed at the edge of the driveway. If you are staying on a Monday night please place cans back in the storage area. Occasionally the cans are not picked up on their scheduled day due to weather conditions. If this occurs please leave the cans out.

Recycle pick up is every other Monday. The schedule is located on the fridge.

Payment Policy

Refundable Damage Deposit

A $300 damage deposit is fully refundable within 7 days.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations 7 days prior to check-in are not refundable.
Cancellations 14 days prior to check-in may be refunded if we can re-book the dates.
Cancellations 21+ days prior to check-in are fully refundable.

Notes

The security deposit of $300 is fully refundable after your check-out, and the cleaning team has completed the turn over, and verification of the property.
