What’s for dinner??

East Ellijay has a lot of your basics from Chick-Fil-A to iHop to Moe’s which is fine if your in a rush and don’t want to think too much (it’s ok...you’re on vacation). But there are better options on the square of downtown Ellijay, ie the Ellijay Wood Fired Pizza (shown above). But seriously, don’t make this a late night run...they’re bound to be closed or out of dough!

The Roof has the best view in town! You will love sitting up high overlooking the town with the panoramic view of the north GA mountains! The food is pretty good too!! Check the days/hours before you plan...and make sure you have shoes for the stairs (the elevator is not installed as of this writing yet)

Hands down the best Poke Bowl in town can be found at The Shack! Eat in, on the sidewalk or take out and bring back to the cabin! (The Thai Chicken is my personal favorite!)

Cantaberry is a great place to grab a salad or a sandwich wrap for lunch! They do serve dinner on certain days...check their schedule before heading out! (The Honey Turkey Club with fries is hard to beat!)

River Street Tavern Grab yourself a good ole fashion burger from the tavern that never disappoints...you might even get to hear some live music!

La Catrina is our first stop in Ellijay almost every time!! Good fresh Mexican! And if you’re there on a Friday, they usually have beer and taco happy hour from 5-6pm!

Cartecay Wine & Craft doesn’t serve food, but you can stop here for a refreshment in between shops! And even have some Ellijay Wood Fired Pizza delivered from right next door!
