Emerald Isle vacation rentals

The house has everything we needed for a weeklong family reunion. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and baking our meals at home. The open floor plan downstairs allowed everyone to spread out comfortably. We enjoyed watching the late night summer storms and feeling the breeze in the screened porch. It was also a great place to safely store our surfboards and fishing gear. The extra living area upstairs was a good space for the teens to escape from the adults. They had their own TV and plenty of board games to entertain themselves. Also there are toys for toddlers for families with little ones. The golf cart was nice to have available. We had plenty of beach things for use, including lots of beach towels and chairs, a large cooler, shovels and toys, an umbrella and mat. We didn’t use the kayak but they provided lifejackets in various sizes. The owners were prompt with responding to questions before and during our stay. They were clear about what the property provided (starter dishwasher and laundry detergent) and what wasn’t (shampoo/conditioner and bath wash/soap). Checkin and checkout process was easy. We would consider staying here again.

We had a wonderful time at Justin's and would definitely stay there again. It was gorgeous to wake up to the ocean every day, in such a perfect location, and then walk down the private walkway to the beach. There were lots of other beach-goers from the neighborhood during the busy summer week we visited, but we were always able to set up chairs on the beach right in front of the house. Justin was very responsive, friendly, and helpful when we needed help with the sliding door. The place was clean, had ample towels, comfortable beds, and everything we could need in the kitchen - including toddler dishes and utensils. We felt right at home. Also Emerald Isle is a cute beach town, with lots of convenient shops, and Publix was just a couple minutes drive from the neighborhood.

Great house for large family gathering...plenty of common kitchen/dining/living space but also nice areas for those times you need a bit of individual space. A nicely furnished kitchen, wonderful pool and outdoor space, and easy walk to beach access make this a place we would love to return in the future.

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday here. Everything about the house was perfect. The home itself, the pool and hot tub, the location to the beach, as well as on the island and proximity to stores and restaurants. To top it off the responses were almost immediate every time we reached out. Definitely 5 stars and would stay here again!

This well appointed one bedroom apartment was perfect for our trip! There was enough room to have my daughter and a couple friends over, along with a nice covered sitting area right outside to socialize. The front area/room allowed my husband to work with separation (like an office). The kitchen had everything we needed (but you can’t cook bacon). We will definitely stay here again!

Jessica’s place was great. The home is newly renovated, has all new furniture and appliances, and it’s super close to the beach (the “3rd row” in the description is misleading, it’s way closer than you’d think). There were several restaurants within a mile walk which was really nice. Short drive to grocery and the aquarium. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend Jessica’s home to others!

We had our family gathering here in June 2022. The beach was fantastic and the pool was appreciated by all. We enjoyed all of the amenities provided for us such as pool time, corn hole, bocce ball, boogie boards, and beach chairs. We traveled from the Pacific Northwest so it was nice to arrive to a place that was fully stocked with games and equipment for beach fun. The house is well-maintained although previous renters had left broken shelves for the refrigerator - a minor inconvenience. The owner was very responsive when we requested additional pillow cases and they arrived within an hour. The rooms in the home were smaller than we expected but everything worked out. The beds were comfortable. The walk to the beach is considerable for folks that are not able-bodied. We rented a beach cart that was dropped off and picked up at the house. The cart made the daily walk to the beach for family members with kids much more doable. The beach was absolutely beautiful and great for families. We enjoyed being so close to the inlet for the shell hunters and fisherman in our group. We would rent The Rustic Peacock again and thought the owners were very nice to work with.
