Why is there no icon for Square or Stripe at the Payment and Policies section?
In this section you can select which credit or debit cards you as a host accept.

Stripe, Square and PayPal are payment processors. Hosts create an account with one of them to process credit and debit card payments online.
Houfy is connected with all three so hosts can easily accept or decline payments from guests.
Guests use credit cards to make payments: For example:
Mastercard
Visa
Amex
Discover
Hosts use payment processors to collect/refund payments:
Stripe
Square
PayPal
PayPal is connected the same way as the other two, from Manage Listings > Connected payments. Guests do not need their own PayPal account to pay a PayPal-connected host - the card fields appear directly at checkout. That depends on PayPal granting your account its custom card processing capability, which is separate from having your PayPal email verified. Without it, guests who already have a PayPal account can still pay you, but guests who want to pay by card without one cannot. Houfy reads this setting from PayPal and cannot switch it on.
One difference worth knowing: the optional Upgrade Your Protection add-on is offered on Stripe and Square bookings only, and does not appear on a PayPal booking. The same applies to CheckinHero: neither add-on is offered on the payment page when the connected processor is PayPal, even on a listing that has them enabled.
