How to add tourist tax per person and per night?

Houfy does apply per-person tourist tax on bookings, but the per-person setting cannot currently be entered from the listing editor. There is no Per person control in the tax form.

If your local tourist tax is charged per guest per night, contact support and we will set it up on your listing.

To add a per-night tax that is not per-person:

1. Go to Edit listing > Pricing > Rates & Fees.

2. Click Tax to open the section - it is closed when the page loads.

3. Click Add tax item and enter the tax name and amount.

4. Change the type dropdown from % to Fixed.

5. Tick Charge per night (instead of once per stay). This checkbox only appears once the type is Fixed.

6. Click Add.
