Kitty Hawk vacation rentals

We cannot possibly say enough good things about this house and location. Everything about it is perfect. Clean, well maintained home with everything you could need for a week away. Quiet street for a nice stroll on the bikes. A quick walk brings you to a fantastic section of the beach. The back yard, pool and hot tub are simply the icing on the cake! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great stay in the Kitty Hawk/OBX area!

This was our 4th year at this cottage and it has continued to hold up under new ownership. The location is very convenient to the beach access just two houses down. The storage room downstairs has plenty of supplies for playing in the surf and sand; shovels, buckets, boogie boards. Just don't forget your beach towels. We discovered Tullio's Bakery in Duck this year. Their pastries were good and worth the 15-20 minute drive up route 12. We enjoyed an airboat tour out of Manteo, which was picturesque and informative. There are plenty of other fun activities right in the area. Wild horse tours, dolphin tours, kayaking tours; we have enjoyed them all! If you like lighthouses, the Currituck and Bodie lighthouse are open and within a reasonable driving distance. I'm still waiting for Hatteras to be accessible again. We like to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed for the week. There is a flat-top electric griddle in the closet of the downstairs master which we found helpful for breakfast time! The newly installed spa and deck continue to be great features of this home and allow you to enjoy the view across the dunes to the ocean. Part of my party arrived about 20 minutes before the 4:00 check-in time and the house was not fully ready; towels not yet washed, beds not made, floor not vacuumed. They were able to easily reach the property manager who came right over. He had a great personality and attitude and got everything finished in no time.

This was our first time using Airbnb, and we couldn't be more pleased First, the communication and ease of booking was wonderful. Jennifer was a great host (though we never met). We were sent information about the house, as well as, the area. We really enjoyed the keyless entree! The place was extremely clean (this is one of the top things on my list!). Everything functioned well. The place was seriously exactly what we hoped! It was just me and my husband, so there was more than enough room! We like riding bikes and found a wonderful trail on the bayside. We didn't need to drive to it. The beach was not far, but we chose to drive and park closer. We had no issues with that at all. We were very happy to enjoy the beach chairs that were provided at the home too! Thank you!! The beach was beautiful! There a plenty of great restaurants around, and convenient to grocery stores, department stores, gas, etc. We loved the location, and explored a lot. It was also our first time in the OBX. Non home related, our 2 big recommendations for the OBX would be to visit the Wright's Brother's Memorial and to visit Jockey's Ridge state park. Both were amazing. We loved the whole stay and would certainly would return! We absolutely recommend staying at Jennifer's cozy beach house !! Thank you so much for our gifts and everything! We have been renting houses in the OBX for decades and this is the absolute best home we have ever stayed in. The beach is a short 3 minute walk away and the community pool was just around the corner. The home was beyond spotless and there was no sand anywhere upon our arrival. Everything was incredibly clean and in much better shape than any house we've stayed in run by large rental companies. The kitchen had every small appliance possible, the garage had pool and sand toys to use as well as general beach gear. There were a ton of board games and books around the house as well. We checked out most of Alicia's recommendations and they were the absolute best. The amount of care and time Alicia put into this rental shows and we will be back!!

This house was clean and comfortable. We felt truly welcome with the extra treats! There were great family games and a couple bicycles too. It’s not quite close enough to walk to the beach but we did enjoy walking to the sound. Thank you for sharing your home!

This was a great space for our family of 5 and exceeded my expectations. We were also visiting family who live in OBX. There were sometimes 10 people inside the house, ranging in age from 18 to 80, and the space never felt crowded, whether we were cooking, eating, playing games, or just hanging out. The pool, hot tub, and crow's nest were among the favorite spaces. Additionally, Lien was a great communicator, both proactively and with prompt responses. We will definitely be back if the house is available on our next trip!

Our family really enjoyed the house and all of the amenities that came with it. We were just down for a long weekend but it felt like a real vacation. The house is just as it says online...clean, comfortable, and accommodated our group of 10 very well. Also the house had everything we could have thought of from the fully stocked kitchen to the bathroom toiletries! The pool, putting green, and hot tub gave everyone something to do. Everything was explained very well in the digital house guide so we didn't even need to reach out with any questions!!! I would not only want to stay there again but will recommend it to other friends that may be going to the Outer Banks.

We had a lovely stay for almost two weeks at this cottage by the sea. The host was so helpful and kept the entire place well stocked with all the items we could possibly need: there were bikes, helmets, beach toys, lots of beach chairs, umbrella, full outdoor shower wash area, washer/dryer, linens (all fully sanitized and professionally sealed), soaps plus a full kitchen just to name a few. The house had nice beach decor, and best of all, just steps from the beach with gorgeous views as well from the wrap around porch!!! It was so convenient to go swimming each day, and the pristine beach was everything you dream about when going to the Outer Banks. I also loved how centrally located the house was to shopping, restaurants, and all the Outer Banks has to offer: we were able to explore everything from Cordova to Hatteras easily. Overall, a very pleasant happy stay and one of our favorite vacations ever. Thank you!
