Cross Country Skiing vacation rentals

Our stay at Dancing Bear Lodge was lovely. The cabin is well appointed, large, and comfortable and provides endless opportunities to be well entertained. We most enjoyed the outdoor space. The weather was very cool so having a fireplace and outdoor curtains was perfect, you could still enjoy being out of doors without being cold. There were 2 barbeques, one in the open air and one in a covered space which was very handy the day it rained and we could still grill our dinner. Loved that part!! As far as inside of the cabin goes, the kitchen was just wonderful, well stocked with small appliances and plenty of cooking and dining accessories. Bedrooms were large and comfortable and cabin was very clean. The wildlife is also a big draw for us since we are animal lovers. There is bird seed provided for feeding and we filled all the feeders every day. Beautiful birds of a large variety and even a book for Arizona Bids was provided so you would know what kind of birds were dining from the amazing back patio. We also fed a couple different varieties of squirrels, they were hilarious. A couple of days we had a small group of Elk visit and when we ran out of the fruit we brought for them we tried a non-traditional fruit, Banana’s, the Elk were all over that. LOL! They loved the bananas. What a hoot. We had a small adventure when a little bird managed to enter our cabin and we couldn’t catch it. Our hosts sent someone right away to catch the little fella and set him free. So yes, we had a fabulous week and will be back as soon as we can. Our hosts were the best and very responsive. Thanks again for a magnificent week.

This was our third time staying at the Ahwahnee-be and it looks like it will be an annual event! Everything is always perfect, from the cozy but spacious cabin to the perfect location. The hosts communicate clearly and thoroughly so we never have questions. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful location! We stayed here for two days but wished we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed the wellness facilities and the beautiful surroundings and views. Highly recommended!

We are absolutely in love with this beautiful cabin. Very well kept ,clean and comfortable. Everything feels such a luxury. Our family love to cook, so their mini chef’s kitchen is perfect. We were able to find everything that we need to make our holiday dinner spread. Backyard deck is amazing! We love to cozy up in the fire pit making s’mores and drinking hot chocolate. Over all we had a very unique and wonderful experience celebrating our Christmas eve. Thank you Diego and Monique for sharing your Beautiful cabin and for being such a great host. I would not hesitate to recommend this cabin.

We also have vacation rentals in Washington which keep us busy 7 days a week, so we REALLY needed a getaway. We were captivated by the first photo of this cottage. We've been to Sandpoint a couple of times, but we'd never really looked at this neighborhood. Beautiful older homes that have been renovated and given new life amongst huge century-old trees within a few blocks of the downtown area and the beach immediately brought a sense of serenity and peace to us when we arrived. The cottage was bigger than we needed, but we really wanted to stretch out and relax. The home was spotless, welcoming, and very well stocked. The bed was comfortable (which is hard to find) and the living room furniture actually was the kind you just sink into and never want to get up. However, the claw food tub also called to me. So many things to do, so little time! We spent most of our in-house time sitting on the back porch watching the family of squirrels in the giant willow tree. There were also 2 families of birds just a few feet away in the same tree. The weather was perfect, and we walked to Hydra Steakhouse and had excellent seafood. There's a nice little health food store a block away and we got absolutely wonderful massages at the Medical Massage place which was also only a block away. Would we come back? You bet! We never wanted to leave in the first place!!!

What a beautiful place! The condo looks like it was renovated yesterday with all the modern amenities. 2 huge TVs and the bed is oh so comfy! Wait until you see the shower. This host has not missed a single detail and had every bit of information on the town at my fingertips. The host was available for all communication and made the stay super easy and was very accommodating. This condo overlooks a beautiful stream and has two chairs right outside to have your morning coffee. I met 2 neighbors that were totally awesome and asked if I needed any recommendations on what to do around town. I will definitely be returning as this host didn't miss one single detail. The condo is located within walking distance to town and the gondola to take you to the mountain village is a short walk along the beautiful river. Loved this place! If I could leave more than 5 stars I would!

I was the last human on earth to try Airbnb. For years a staunch NO to the concept. My kids kept at me to try it so, I said fair enough I'll test my opinion. What have I been missing?! Crazy clean, a mattress I would love to have at home, warm blankets, a nice firebox, modern and perfectly scaled minimalist furnishings, exceptionally stocked kitchen. Just the right size unit for 2 people needing separate beds (I was traveling with my son) or two couples. And the location!!!!! Its at the Bridal Falls end of town which means direct access to hike or ride a bike up to the trailhead. No more than 3-4 minute walk to the best stores and eateries in town. 2 minute walk to the ski slope Gondola. No more than 5 minutes to the bike trail that runs along C145 where you can access Telluride Mountain Village Ski resort and beyond. You're also smack in the middle of some of the most beautiful Telluride side streets and homes wrapped in aspens and pines. Thank you Macey for a wonderful stay, you changed my opinion of Airbnb.
