No pretense. Nothing fancy. A great deal on an experience that has all but disappeared from the rest of the Atlantic Coast.

Cedar Island is for Nature Buffs only.

Not for the uppity hoi polloi.

If you want restaurants, shops and a parade. We don't have it, and we don't want it. We have one simple restaurant, and a well stocked general store. If you like Miami Beach or Atlantic Beach, go there. Everyone deserves a great vacation, but this is not for you.

Come all ye Campers, Boaters, Fishermen, wind surfers, kite-boarders, kayakers, birdwatchers, beachcombers, hunters, hedonists and burn outs. We can recharge your batteries.

This huge, comfortable but modest country house has 1.5 private acres right on the water. It has everything you need, but nothing fancy.

Come for the experience, and our warm southern hospitality. Please excuse our appearance during exterior maintenance (never t during your stay).
