There's a particular kind of quiet that only happens on a cliff above the Atlantic. At Waterfront, it's the first thing you notice — the soft break of surf below, the wide silver light off the ocean, the village of Gaula - Porto Novo still half-asleep behind you.

Set directly on the cliff, on Madeira's sunny south coast, Waterfront is the first of our two side-by-side apartments. You're 5 minutes from Funchal–Madeira Airport, 10 minutes from the Santa Cruz seaside promenade, 15 minutes from the golden sands of Machico, and a 20-minute drive (17 km) into the heart of Funchal. Close to everything, yet wonderfully apart from it.

Inside, two bedrooms and a full bathroom comfortably host up to 4 guests, with a bright open-plan living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, smart TV, fast Wi-Fi, washing machine, and a quiet corner for those mixing the holiday with a few hours of remote work. The real signature, though, is outside: an ocean-facing balcony for morning coffee with the horizon, and — one level down — a private patio with sunbeds and an outdoor shower, framed by the open Atlantic. It's the kind of spot where afternoons quietly disappear.
