Where do I find my Houfy API Access Token?

Do not regenerate your token just to look at it. Regenerating immediately breaks every connected app still using the old token, and you would have to paste the new token into each of them. To see the token you already have, use the eye icon beside it and then the copy icon.

• Use the eye icon to reveal your existing token, or the copy icon to copy it. Only use Regenerate if the token has been exposed.

Token and Authkey are two different things

The API access token above identifies your account. Most Open API endpoints - profile, listings, rates, availability and reservations - also require an Authkey header, which identifies the application making the call. Authkeys are issued by Houfy and cannot be generated from your settings. A request sent with a valid access token but no Authkey is rejected with a 401 Unauthorized and an empty response body - which looks like a token problem but is not, so do not regenerate your token in response to a 401.

To request an Authkey, write to info@houfy.com with the email address on your Houfy account and a short description of what you are building. Two more things to check before you call the API: the listings you call must be Houfy-verified, and the interactive tester on the API documentation page does not currently work from a browser - call the API from your own server instead.
