How to take booking payments on Houfy if connected with OwnerRez?

If your listings come from OwnerRez, you can still take the payment on Houfy - and you do not need to change any OwnerRez setting to do it.

1. Connect a payment processor to Houfy. Go to Connected payments and connect Stripe, Square or PayPal. This is the step that matters: the payment button below does not appear until you have a working connection.

2. Open the reservation you want to collect for. Under Payment Actions, click Send a payment request. Your guest gets a link and pays you through Houfy.

3. Keep your calendars in step. Because the booking was made in OwnerRez, add Houfy's calendar feed to OwnerRez so the dates block on both sides. Get the feed from your listing: Listings > Calendar > Availability > Export Calendar - copy that URL into OwnerRez as an imported iCal calendar.

If you cannot see Send a payment request on a reservation, it is almost always step 1 - go back to Connected payments and check that your Stripe, Square or PayPal account is connected and active.
