How to edit your map location and address on Houfy
Location is just one factor travelers use when choosing a place to stay. Be sure to meet your guests' expectations by accurately displaying your property's location.

Scroll to the bottom of your listing's homepage to view your Google Maps data as a traveler. Then determine if you need to make changes to any of the map information.
To edit your listing’s address
Go to Manage Listings and select your listing
Under Overview, go to Location
Type your address into the address section and pick the matching suggestion.
Drag the Pin onto your building last. If you edit the address after moving the pin, the pin is placed from the address again and your manual placement is lost.
Don’t forget: You can also answer any questions guests might have about location in your message thread.
Show exact location: This allows travelers to use Google Maps for directions to your property.
Hide exact location: Select No tab to hide this information from Houfy. Guests then see only a shaded circle of 500 metres radius around your property — never a map marker and never your street address, so moving the pin does not reveal where you live.
Show Street view: (street view is only shown if it's available on Google Maps)
Scroll to the bottom of your listing. The circle indicates your property's general location, and notice (if you chose to hide your location) the map directions option is no longer available.
What should I do if Google Maps displays inaccurate data?
Report it to Google using the Report a map error link at the bottom right of any Google map. Houfy cannot override Google's map data for a listing, so emailing support will not change what Google shows. What you control is your own address and pin, so check those first: most reports of a wrong map turn out to be an address that was edited after the pin was placed, which resets the pin.
