How to connect Houfy to Cleanster.com

You connect Cleanster to Houfy with a Houfy API access token. Here is how to get one.

1. Log in to Houfy.

2. Open Software Partners and scroll to API Access Token.

3. If you have never made a token, click Generate Token. If you already have one, it is shown here.

4. Click the copy icon to copy the token. To read it on screen first, click the eye icon to unmask it.

5. Go to the Cleanster app and paste the token where it asks for your Houfy API access token.

You can also reach the same token from Menu > Settings and Privacy, but that page only offers Regenerate - use Software Partners the first time, when you have no token yet.

Treat the token like a password: it gives access to your Houfy account, so do not share it or post it anywhere.

Only regenerate the token if you believe it has been exposed. Regenerating replaces the old one, and any other app you have already given the old token to - including Cleanster - will stop working until you paste the new one in.
