What Are Coupon Discount Codes?

Coupon codes let you offer guests a discount when they book your property. You create a code (like SUMMER25 or WELCOME10), set the discount amount, and share it with guests. When a guest enters the code on your listing page and clicks Apply, the discount is added to their price.

How to Create a Coupon Code?

1. Go to your listing's Edit page

2. Navigate to Pricing > Discounts

3. Click the Coupon Discounts section to open it - the sections on this page start closed.

4. Click Add Coupon

5. Fill in the details:

- Coupon Code: Enter a unique code (at least 4 characters, e.g. SUMMER25)

- Discount: Enter the amount and choose percentage (%) or fixed amount ($)

6. Click Add Coupon to save

Coupon Options

Check-in/Check-out Dates (Optional)

Limit the coupon to stays that fall entirely inside a date range. Both the check-in and the last night must be inside it, so a stay that starts inside the range but ends after it will not get the coupon.

Coupon Validity Dates (Optional)

Set when the coupon code can be used. For example, the code is only valid if used between May 1 and May 31, regardless of the check-in date.

Minimum Nights

Require a minimum number of nights for the coupon to apply. For example, the guest must book at least 3 nights.

Stacking Options

Choose whether the coupon can be combined with other discounts:

- Stack with length of stay discounts (weekly/monthly discounts)

- Stack with early bird discounts

Both boxes are ticked when you create a coupon. Note that unticking Stack with early bird discounts also stops any last-minute discount you offer from applying while the coupon is used.

Exclude Days

Exclude specific days of the week from the coupon. For example, exclude weekends so the coupon only applies to weekday stays.

Apply to All Listings

If you have multiple listings, you can apply the same coupon code to all of them at once:

1. When creating or editing a coupon, turn on the "Apply to all my listings" toggle

2. Click "Apply to All Listings"

3. The coupon will be created or updated on all your active listings

This saves time when running a promotion across all your properties.

Edit a Coupon

1. Click on an existing coupon in the list

2. Make your changes

3. To update on this listing only, click "Update Coupon"

4. To update across all listings, turn on "Apply to all my listings" and click "Apply to All Listings"

Delete a Coupon

1. Click the delete icon next to the coupon

2. Choose to remove from this listing only, or toggle "Remove from all my listings" to remove it everywhere

3. Click Remove to confirm

Can I create multiple coupon codes for the same listing?

Yes. You can have as many coupon codes as you need on each listing.

Can guests stack multiple coupon codes?

No. Only one coupon code can be used per booking. However, a coupon can be stacked with length of stay and early bird discounts if you enable those options.

What happens if I apply a coupon to all listings but some already have it?

Existing coupons with the same code will be updated with the new settings. Listings that don't have the code yet will get it added.

Can I set a coupon as a fixed dollar amount instead of a percentage?

Yes. When creating the coupon, toggle between % and $ to choose the discount type.

Does the coupon expire automatically?

Only if you set coupon validity dates. Without validity dates, the coupon remains active until you delete it.

Is a fixed-amount coupon taken off every night?

No - a fixed amount comes off the stay once, not per night. A percentage coupon applies to each night that is not excluded.
