La Porte vacation rentals

I'll start by saying this was a great location and the place was nice, clean and had plenty of room for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids. We'll definitely stay again when we're in town. The toys and games for the kids and the toiletries in all of the bathrooms were a nice touch! It seems like this is a new rental so maybe some of these items are in the works, but a couple areas of improvement: We were in town for a funeral so we were missing having some hangers to hang our good clothes, the fans in the bedrooms weren't working, we would have liked to have some curtains or window coverings, and the door for the hot tub didn't seem to lock well.

Willow Retreat was a great place for our large group of four adults and five kids! We felt very safe in the neighborhood and had plenty of privacy. A couple of our kids are runners, so we appreciated the fenced in backyard. The inside of the house was thoughtfully put together. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, pots and pans, dishes, toaster, and coffee makers. The living room had plenty of comfortable seating, pillows, and blankets. The bedrooms had comfortable beds, closets with hangers, extra linens, and ceiling fans. Bathrooms were very clean and well stocked, as well! As parents with young children, we especially appreciated the simplicity of the tasteful house decor. There wasn’t too many decorations/knick-knacks for the kids to grab and possibly damage. As for us adults, it was really nice to have bedroom dressers where we could put our belongings on top of and not have to worry about working around the owner’s decor. Thank you for providing us such a great house to rent!

We took a short trip to plunk down by the water and celebrate our anniversary. The lake is beautiful and clear, and the proximity to Soldier's Park was great to take walks. The home itself has tight quarters, but perfect for a couple. Really all you need. The sun porch was great to sit, read, play the ukelele they had on premises (thank you for that!) and make up songs. We had some confusion about the portable dishwasher since we'd never operated one before, but the property manager was very helpful and quick to respond. It's a sweet little place!

This stay for a month-long business trip that was 100 times better than staying in a hotel-chain extended-stay room. My favorite part about the rental property was the numerically-coded keyless entry so I never had to worry about keeping a keycard or actual physical key itself!

I was totally satisfied with MTM Management I had to contact them 3 times with questions or something I needed and the response time was great. I requested 3 hour early check in. No problem I had an issue with the door key pad. Fixed within minutes. I needed a snow shovel lol. They delivered one ASAP. The house isn’t fancy but it is very comfortable and homey. I would stay again.

Great location - across from a huge park and next to a pond. Came in December for a family event and the property was a great fit for our group. Huge table in back room overlooking pond and patio - played board games and ate dinners. Pool room and tv room great for kids. Asked the management company if they had a Christmas Tree and they set one up for us prior to arrival. Ashlan with the management co. was quick to respond and accommodate us quickly. There is also a basketball hoop in the driveway and tons of patio area to sit in the back. I would totally rent this place again in the summer with the pond and park nearby. The beds were firmer than we are used to but each room was very nice and the bathroom in the master was amazing and newly remodeled. The shower alone was worth the rent! Thank you for a fantastic stay - we will be back!
