Well, if you are at our place, apparently there aren't too many swings! We have three swings and a hammock -- could you say we're serious about relaxation? This picture is Peggy up in the swing that Mike has attached to a motorized wench in the big tree. So easy, just push the button and up, up you go! We have hammocks and other swings closer to the ground, too, for the less adventurous so join us at the Lakefront Mountain Suite.
When we bought our place on the lake, we loved the expanse of windows and walls to the outside. Light-filled and sparkling from the sun, the dark cherry furniture in one bedroom just didn't fit. The house came furnished and it isn't in our nature to get rid of usable stuff. So we painted and I LOVE the difference. The bed is a soft green and the side tables, dressers are soft white and we changed out the knobs. It works because this room has white walls and so it looks even bigger.
