Medium  "Your sleep is what matters most" After a long search of different mattresses, Nest has a good reputation for pleasing the majority of sleepers.  It has the perfect blend of pocket coils and memory foam to make it a very comfortable luxury hybrid mattress.  Perfect for front, side and back sleepers.  It comes in 3 levels: soft, medium and firm.  We chose the most popular medium level.  Nest also has a line of other mattresses in memory foam and latex.  It's made in the USA and has a lifetime comfort warranty.  I have personally slept on the Nest Hybrid mattress for over 2 weeks and I have to agree,  I like the Nest mattress. 

Choosing a mattress that will be loved by all guest will never happen.  My goal was to choose a few mattresses that will please most guest and give guest options while they are staying at 

.  Just like Goldilocks, if one bed is too soft or too hard, you just need to switch beds.   There are 3 beds in the Condo and 3 different brands and styles of mattresses.  The Master King bed has a Nest Alexander Hybrid Medium, the Second bedroom has a full size Nectar memory foam, and a full size Lucid 13inch Hybrid.   All 3 of these mattress are a "bed in a box" design and are convenient to have delivered and set up.  All three of these mattress are on bed frames with slats, no boxsprings needed.  All mattresses at Diamond on the Emerald Coast are encased in Allergy protection Zippered Mattress protectors, and topped with a Mattress protector. 

The Second bedroom has two different full size mattresses on the 2 beds.  Some of our guest like a firmer mattress and some of our guest like a softer memory foam.  The 

  has a combination of wrapped coils with a memory foam top layer.  I think it feels like it is more on the firmer side, but I have guest that love this mattress and ask me what brand of mattress this is.  Lucid sells a variety of mattresses memory foam, hybrid and others with different thickness, but this 13 inch Lucid Hybrid was purchased at Walmart.

    Nectar mattress carry a forever warranty and a 365 trial period.  Nectar states "its like sleeping on a cloud."    Nectar only makes one type of mattress because they believe they have figured out the optimal level of firmness, coolness, breathability, and comfort and I can not argue with that statement.  Nectar Mattresses are one of the most accommodating mattress for side, back, and stomach sleepers.  

 we want you to feel like you are at home.  Getting a good nights rest is import.   Almost as important as waking up to that Ocean View.

Our family has been spending our vacations in Panama City Beach since 2002.  We understand that life is hectic and people really need to make the most out of what limited vacation time they have.  Sometimes it takes a life changing event to open your eyes to what is most important in life: the time you spend with the people you love.  Nobody ever looks back on life and says 'Gee I wish, I had worked a little more.' Looking into the future, we hope to eventually spend our winters as snowbirds on the beautiful Emerald Gulf Coast.  Spending some time on the beach has a way of washing away all of the worries and stress.   Whether staying for a week or staying for a month, the memories you make will last forever.

Why we chose The Dunes of Panama, Panama City Beach

In the fall of 2014, we choose the Dunes of Panama for the pet friendly accommodations and 1500 feet of beach frontage.  The resort has all of the amenities we were looking for with a family oriented atmosphere.

This condo isn't just another rental, this is our future winter home, with our personal touches.  The resort has all of the amenities and plenty of space so you don't feel crowded.  The people are so friendly, it just makes you want to come back year after year.
