Kraken's Den Oceanview Steps to ocean Pool - Carolina Beach

Steps from the ocean and near of the heart of Carolina Beach, this uniquely decorated condo is a wonderful spot to enjoy your beach vacation. Close to restaurants, shops, the Aquarium, Ft. Fisher historical site, and many other attractions, you will love the location and the relaxation of The Kraken's Den!

Our husband and wife team at “My CB Vacation” hopes to provide you with a wonderful vacation experience at Carolina Beach. We look forward to making your stay an experience to remember!

You will have the entire condo to yourself. The Kraken's Den is located on the 3rd floor of a well-maintained condo complex. The balcony overlooks the ocean and the main street.

The bed is a memory foam queen mattress with comfortable firm pillows and a down duvet. You will have use of all items in the condo. If more than two people are staying with you, please let us know to arrange additional linens for the queen pullout sofa and towels. Additional guests over 2 incur an added fee for linens and towels. If you only have two guests, but one is planning to sleep on the sofa bed, please let us know in advance, in order to add the linen fee and make sure the bed is made.

We provide wooden beach chairs and an umbrella set up for you daily in the high season from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekends, and every reservation receives all linens and towels for the number of guests booked. If you need extra, let us know. You will also have water on arrival and a Keurig with several varieties of coffee and tea and accoutrements.

Please note: there is only space for one vehicle in the Kraken's Den parking lot. Additional vehicles must be parked on the street or in a public lot.

The pool is generally open from mid-April through mid-October.

You will have access to the entire condo and the pool. You will also receive a parking tag for your vehicle to park in the Sea Mist lot. We only have a tag for 1 vehicle, but there is paid parking nearby.

Carolina Beach is ranked as one of the Top Vacation Beach destinations on the East Coast! There is plenty to do for adults and families, including the boardwalk with carnival rides and games in the summer, plenty of close restaurants and pubs, and of course, the warm water and sandy beaches.

Just a 10 minute drive from the North Carolina Aquarium at Ft. Fisher and the ferry to Southport, and only 25 minutes into Wilmington, we are in a great spot to explore all that Southeastern North Carolina has to offer!

There is no public transportation at Carolina Beach, but we do have space for 1 vehicle. There are taxi services and Uber/Lyft options as well. But we are more than walkable to downtown Carolina Beach and all the shops, restaurants and pubs, and of course, just steps from the beach!

We have created a unique app guidebook for the condo and the Carolina Beach area that will give you lots of ideas and suggestions about restaurants, activities, local info, dog rules and the dog park, and many more fun things.

We also have partnered with Tony Silvagni Surf School to provide our guests with a high quality wooden umbrella and 2 wooden chairs that Tony's team will set up on the beach for you every day from 9am-5pm during the summer season (Memorial Day- Labor Day). He also will extend a 10% discount to any other rental, tour or lesson you would like to book during your stay!
