Dès l’instant où nous avons posé le premier pas dans le chalet de Martin, nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. Il y a des lieux magiques dont il est difficile de décrire l’atmosphère. Définitivement ce chalet fera partie des meilleurs endroits où nous avons passé des vacances en famille. Dans un cadre magnifique entouré de forêt de sapins, ce chalet offre un nid douillet, chaleureux, lumineux vaste et moderne avec un confort digne d’un grand hôtel. Tout était absolument parfait et nous avons reçu la visite de nombreux rênes là juste devant nos yeux, observables depuis la superbe terrasse en bois. Les randonnées sont incroyables. Nous avons également eu la chance d’observer par une nuit d’été avec un ciel dégagé, de somptueuses aurores boréales… Que dire de plus sinon merci à Martin qui a été accueillant et fluide dans nos échanges. Merci !

Deep in the pristine wildernis of Lapland, close to the cozy hamlet of Nattavaara you will find a tiny red timber cabin where the warmest of welcomes is waiting for you. Lena’s place has everything you need for a comfortable stay: a warm bed, a cooking plate and a wood burning stove to keep you cozy and warm in the arctic weather. Instead of a bathroom you have a sauna for washing up, just like the local people did for hundreds of years. While the loss of our standard creature comforts may seem daunting at first, the authenticity of the ‘True Lapland Experience’ will quickly put you at ease. Lena is in every way possible a superhost and we felt right at home - we even stayed for two extra days. Her knowledge and experience about the local fauna and flora is outstanding. She taught us about all the different edible plants around us (who knew dandelions are delicious?!) and about the perils of growing veggies so far up north. We also got some very good recommendations for nearby hikes where we found peace and quiet. It truly was a magical experience!

Lena is incredible, amazing and so much caring host! I have never met such kind host on any of my airbnb travels. She is good spirit of Lapland and local wisdom keeper! The cabin is super cozy and has all you need up to the very smallest details including well equipped, functional kitchen and lovely yellow fire stove which kept me nicely warm even with -35 outside . The whole place is full of great energy and surrounded by wonderful quiet and truly healing nature, no matter if you go in summer or winter. Sauna at the lake gets hot really quickly and offers you wonderful space for relaxing bath rituals. In winter I have seen amazing auroras right over the lake. There are many animals and birds all around and its easy to track them on snow: reindeers, elks, foxes, rabbits and many different birds. You will have a wonderful experience here and dive in human and planet friendly ways of life without stress and hectic, back to the roots. If you go to Lapland and want to experience a REAL thing, this place is a must on your list!

My stay at Laura’s apartment was the first Airbnb-experience I ever had. I had some trouble booking the first time (it was my fault) and due to my flight I arrived later than expected. But Laura continued to stay in contact, friendly and helpful, so I had a really good feeling when I was finally on my way to her apartement. Laura gave me a very warm welcome, it felt like meeting a friend I haven’t seen for a long time! Actually I was a bit surprised that she also gave me security instructions (where to find the first aid kit, etc.) while we made a little tour through her nice apartment – but of course, this is important, too! :-) By the way, the apartment was really nice, much of Laura’s interesting history in it – you have to see it by yourself... What I didn’t expected was a toilet for my own and a reeeeaaaallly comfortable and new double bed. I slept like in heaven! The bedroom also has an own balcony, and I had a wardrobe for my own. Everything was perfect cleaned. Compared to a hotel room, nothing was missing. It was even much better than a hotel for me, because I really liked Laura. We sat in the living room talking the whole late evening. Summarized: Laura is a professional Airbnb host with special social skills :-) She is a very warm, friendly, and helpful person; always caring about her guest – but also respectful, if you would rather be left alone. Keeping in mind, that being a good host needs more time than you normally see, I am very thankful for those perfect memorable two nights! Thank you, Laura!

Hans ist ein großartige Gastgeber.Von der Reisevorbereitung über den Check-In und seine kurzfristige Verfügbarkeit bis hin zum Check Out. Alles war top.Die Unterkunft ist mit buchstäblich allem ausgestattet,was man benötigt. Es gibt sogar Wasch-, Putz-, Spül-, Hygieneartikel, Kaffee, Kaffeefilter... Fantastisch!Die Unterkunft besteht quasi aus drei Räumen.Wenn man reinkommt, steht an der linken Wand eine Garderobe mit ausreichend Platz für Schuhe und Jacken. Dahinter steht ein frischbezogenes, nach Waschmittel duftendes Hochbett (das untere hab ich ausprobiert, sehr bequem) und dahinter ein geräumiger Schrank.Gegenüber dem Schrank betritt man das Bad. Es ist exakt wie auf dem Foto ein wenig schlauchartig mit Dusche,Waschbecken,Waschmaschine, WC, alles sehr sauber und man fühlt sich hier wohl.Rechts neben der Eingangstür öffnet sich der Raum für die liebevoll eingerichtete Küche. Achtung, die Küche ist leicht erhöht,also wie auf einem Podest, mit Tisch und Stühlen für vier Personen, Kuhl-/Gefrierkombi, Herd mit Ofen und jede Menge Schränken mit Koch-Utensilien.Der zweite Raum besteht aus einer Couch-Kombi und dahinter ein riesiges, bequemes Doppelbett und einem sehr weichen einzelbett.Die Terrasse ist klein aber gemütlich.Hans antwortete immer sofort und ausführlich auf meine Fragen. Meistens dauerte seine Antwort nur wenige Minuten.Hans versorgte uns mit Ausflugstipps und nützlichen Informationen.Hans,vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt (11 Tage)

My stay at Laura's house didn't go well. She imposes very strict rules and is uncompromising on it: buying food on a daily basis, using the kitchen only for 1 hour in the evening... These rules are only for the guests and not for her: she want silence to be observed in the house at 10PM, but she sometimes spoke loudly after midnight in the kitchen and asked me to put ear wax when I asked her to turn the sound of her tv down at 11PM. She has a big kitchen with lots of space, but you are only allowed to use half a little compartment in the fridge and you have no space to store food in her freezer and the kitchen shelves. This even for long term guests like me (1 month). I was working every day until 6PM so I tried to find an arrangement to buy food for the week, but she was not arranging, said that I had a psychological problem with food, and threat me to throw my extra food… She also threatened me to not have access to the kitchen anymore if I forgot to put my chair under the table when I left. She wanted to impose me a schedule for using the kitchen that was not compatible with my working hours. She was unpleasant, it was very complicated to find arrangements, I had no choice but to call Airbnb to solve the problem. The wifi didn’t worked in the room, only in the kitchen, but I was not allowed to stay more than one hour in the kitchen in the evening so I solved her wifi problem myself by equipping her flat with a wifi repeater.

It’s a beautiful and peaceful home. My wife, our two young boys and myself, as well as my laws spend about two weeks here. We happily enjoyed the various boardgames and the spacious garden with the trampoline. You can have very pleasant strolls through the area with beautiful views as well as a nice little spot nearby where the kids can enjoy and play in the water. Taking the ferry back to the main land, which crosses very frequently, you can enjoy multiple places to eat out. It’s also close enough to visit the centre of Stockholm and enjoy all it has to offer. The host, Johan, has been extremely hospitable to us. Very friendly and easy to communicate with. From pre-booking to post-checkout. Proactive in sharing some interesting places for us to visit and quick to respond whenever we had a question. The only thing of note to us was the fence missing in the back garden. Fortunately any traffic that passes drives at a neighborhood friendly pace. Would recommend!

Soggiorno eccellente! L’appartamento è stato all’altezza delle aspettative: pulito, ordinato e curato nei dettagli. La posizione è perfetta per visitare la città, vicina ai principali punti di interesse ma allo stesso tempo tranquilla e silenziosa. Il letto è molto comodo, la cucina ben attrezzata e gli spazi sono stati pensati per garantire il massimo comfort. L’host è stato estremamente disponibile, chiaro nelle comunicazioni e sempre pronto ad aiutare. Check-in e check-out semplici e veloci. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura a chiunque voglia trascorrere un soggiorno piacevole e senza pensieri. Sicuramente ci tornerò!
