The Sylvan Beach Fest is held annually the last weekend in April. April weather in Texas is amazing and a perfect compliment to the festival. There is a parade, live entertainment, food, arts and crafts, carnival, cook-off, pageant and much more! It is held in Sylvan Beach Park and the gates open on Saturday at 9:00 am. The event is kicked off by the parade at 10:00. The live bands take the stage starting at noon and continue until 9:00 pm. Our cottage is ideally located to enjoy the festival and come and go from the festival grounds as you wish. Sylvan Beach Fest is sponsored by the La Porte Bayshore Chamber of Commerce and is a family friendly, fun for the whole family event. Ticket information can be found here.
