Yosemite Dome Home @ ET Ranch - Midpines

Welcome to our unique dome home overlooking Yosemite! Surrounded by mountains with great views at every spot you choose. Explore and discover nature at this 60-acre ranch to reset and transform you with that special getaway-from-it-all feeling. Enjoy prancing in the lush meadows, communing with nature, be awed with the grandeur of the surrounding Sierra mountains. Enjoy leisure walks or bike around the fenced horse arena located down the knoll, find hiking trails, chase the wild turkeys, engage with a herd of deers, and have endless time for bird watching. Stargazing would be the highlight of your nights either via the triangle glass ceilings or spending more time outside gazing up the skies. Feel refreshed by dipping your toes in the cool Merced River a few miles away.

ET Ranch was once owned by Arabian horse breeders. Now, the well-maintained fenced horse arena is frequently visited by roaming wildlife. Chirping birds abound and those wood peckers truly want to make their mark. Bring your meditation mats and you'll surely find an engaging space for relaxation under the oak trees or by the misty meadows.

ET Ranch can be your base camp to Yosemite National Park (YNP) via Hwy 140. It is about 26 miles to the "Arch Entrance".

Directions to the ranch: Take Hwy 99 to Merced and exit to Hwy 140. You'll pass by Mariposa, then reach Midpines. Exit to the left on Colorado Rd, drive 1.8 miles to the main gate on the corner of Rumley Mine Rd (right). A code will be given to unlock the padlock at the gate. Please relock the gate upon entering (to prevent unlawful entry of wildlife hunters to this serene area). As you enter the easement, watch out for those herd of deer that likes to welcome people. Drive 0.7 miles. The well-maintained gravel road will lead you on the right to the top of a knoll, and you'll find the one of a kind, "Yosemite Dome Home @ ET Ranch"(5300).
