Yellowstone Cabin · Private Hot Tub · Sleeps 10-14 - Island Park

Lazy Moose Lodge is a private log cabin in Aspen Ridge, Island Park, about 20 minutes (19 miles) from West Yellowstone and the park's West Entrance. You book the whole cabin and property, so nothing is shared.

WINTER (November through April)
The main lodge sleeps 10. The subdivision roads are plowed and the cabin is drivable all winter; 4WD is highly recommended because the roads can get slippery in heavy snow. Snowmobiles are optional, but if you bring them you can ride straight from the attached 546 sq ft garage down to the groomed trails along Hwy 20. The garage is not heated. A public lot off Red Rock Road holds snowmobile trailers for the season.

SUMMER (May through October)
The detached bunkhouse opens and the cabin sleeps 14.

INSIDE
4 bedrooms in the main lodge (one is the open Bison Loft, with a steep stair and no door). Beds: 1 King, 2 Queen, 2 Full and 4 Single, plus a portable single mattress for the 10th winter guest. 2 full baths (the primary has a clawfoot tub and a separate shower) plus a separate toilet room. A big kitchen with a 5-burner gas range and center griddle, and an A-frame great room with a gas fireplace, leather recliners and a log rocker. A Pack 'n Play is available for little ones.

OUTSIDE
A private hot tub under the covered patio with string lights, open year-round. Gas BBQ and picnic table on the patio, a wood-burning fire pit in the backyard with Adirondack chairs, a slide for the kids and a loft balcony. Free parking on a roomy driveway, plus an RV/trailer pad.

NEARBY
Drift Lodge & Fly Shop is about 200 yards away, Flat Ranch Preserve is a one-minute drive across Hwy 20, and Big Springs (where the Henrys Fork begins) is about 15 minutes by car.

SECURITY
5 exterior Ring cameras cover the driveway and entry, the sides of the house and the back patio area. There are no cameras inside the cabin or in any private areas.
