TRASH: There is no trash pickup service in the community. Guests will be required to bring all trash and recycling to the compactors, which is a 3 minute drive from the house. You will need to have registered with the front office prior to using the compacters.
AMENITIES: We do our best to keep all appliances operational and send maintenance as quickly as possible. And although we have a 99% success rate with our hot tub, it is not guaranteed for your stay. Hot tub users should be clean before using it. Going from the lake right into the hot tub will most likely contaminate the hot tub and lead to rashes.
HOT TUB: Also, the hot tub is cleaned after every stay. When using the hot tub, put the cover into the arm bracket on the side of the hot tub by pushing from the center or using two people, this will prevent the bracket from breaking. When not using the hot tub, always replace the cover to keep the water warmer and to prevent unnecessary evaporation. If the water line is below the jets, please use the hose to fill it back up for proper operation and to prevent the jet motors from burning out.
FISHING: A valid PA fishing license is also required to fish in any body of water in PA.
It can be obtained online or at the local Pocono Boat House on Rt 940.
